Is it a designed feature that if I embed an DX object into my rightclick menu (battery meter) and hit the F10 key the object comes to the front without the menu? I haven't decided if I like it or not . . . but I would like to know if it's a bug I shouldn't get used to or a feature that I can exploit.

I had a similar problem. see the sd thinkdesk newsgroup (news://news.stardock.com) Response from SD: Features like that are provided by the driver running on the primary machine which is why they only impact the primary. Some good news though, the next build of MP should at least prevent the MS mouse drivers from doing this on the primary and with them also installed on the secondary they may do what you expec

I really liked the concept but the demo played slowly for me. YMMV. I've picked up GEOM, Jet's and Guns, and Xeno Assault. I's regretting Jet's and Guns a bit because I suck so badly on it. Both demos for Reaktor and Brick Quest rock . . . but I would hate to use my last four tokens before more games come out. <img src="http://images.stardock.com/wc/icons/wc.gif" border=0 alt="Po

This thing would really be revolutionary if it gradually changed the desktop, like the sun slowly moving from east to west, stars moving, trees blowing, etc. That would be very, very cool. I know I'd pay some duckies for that. Aladdin Systems (now Allume Systems) had a product called Sundial (PC and

Drunkenbatman had an really interesting write up on this: Link DB is a little odd but if you want an irreverent view of Apple, open source, or cows . . . I would say that anything would be better than the hockey puck I have . . . but not at that price point.

I paid $5 for an Apple 2e I picked up a Performa 560 for $25 and it's perfect for my 2 and 5 year old. One button, small footprint, easy OS (7.6), not deletign my files anymore . . . what more can you ask? I have a G4 too (OS X 10.3) . . . almost never use it though. It's a good computer

Seems to be consistent that ctrl-alt-backspace does not work on the secondary computer after the secondary goes into screen saver mode I am sorry to report that I too lose the C-A-B still.

From the article: Sync Manager As with build 5048, the eventual greatness that will be Sync Manager is only tantalizingly hinted at by the inclusion of a bare bones version of this program (Figure). Sometime by Beta 1, we'll have a better look at Sync Manager, but right now even less useful than the Items to Synchronize

Ctrl-Alt-Backspace isn't working on machines with 1.02 I feel badly that I havn'ty tested this recently. I got so used to pushing the C-A-D button on the Tablet that I am starting to look for it on the monitor of my desktop PC. <img src="http://images.stardock.com/wc/smiles/Smile.gif" border=0 ALIG

{quote]Can anybody give me some Tips how to create such a Widget? {/quote] Kris Kwilas gave me the following script. Martin Conroy, Alberto Riccio, and Stardock did the development. Props to them! I am pretty sure that MP can do what you ask sliding the mouse from screen to screen. If you turn on the screen wrapping you may get close to what you want though. MP reads the PC with the rwo monitors as one object so what you really see is A (B1-B2) If you position your monitors like B2 A B1 and set wrapping on (Configure | Interface | Seamless mode Configure) you should be fine. <a href="../resources.aspx?cmd=3

ctrl-alt-del brings up ctrl-alt-del dialog on both machines if I was on the secondary - it immediately freezes the secondaries mouse, and the mouse reverts back to the primary screen. Until I dismiss the dialog on the primary, I cannot even get over to the secondary to click the "task manager" button.

I Am Pariah It also prevents Outlook 2003 from communicating with a browser (clicking a link in an e-mail causes nothing to happen). The last time this happened to me I unchecked the repair icon option in Icon Packager. It seemed unrelated but resolved the issue. Best of luck

But how much did it cost them to write it? How much do they get paid? It cost them $x/hour. Because they used that time to write something. For the record, I manage a team that writes software. Back in the day I could do a little coding. Now I can debug. <img src="http://images.stardo

We can chare things that someone need. Without P2P , I can't find many things I need I think you misunderstand what "need" means. I think you should use the word "want" or "can justify". I support P2P for Linux distros, I have a friend that hosted some research via bitorrent. That is Fr
