Kris @ Stardock was kind enmough to shware this with me . . . IO'm just passing it along. If the forum strips out the code, you can reach me at Email I expect you want the following. Please mention Martin Conroy, Alberto Riccio, and Stardock with a little line of credit somewhere. Kris Dim IsConne

It was Martin proposing a standard way of saving widget information. After discuissions it was agreed that XML was the way to go. Have a look at his WC site Link for more info. OK, I read the article and looked at the object samples . . . are developers using it?

There was a system a while back called CUI; common user interface. The goal was to set up a local file (registry?) with your steetings and an author could call that config if it is there. So a theme could call "group 1" and it would pull your "group 1" settings which might be Business app, or games or utils or whatever. Same with weather widgets or whatever. I was really waiting for that. But I think interest was low. Too

The little map showed up here when I posted it, but soon said my session expired I had the same issue . . . so I took a screenshot. :sigh: <img src="http://images.stardock.com/wc/icons/wc.gif" border=0 alt="Posted via WinCustomize Browser/Stardock Centra

I want to sync "My Documents" and the files on the desktop desktop between my desktop PC and Tablet PC. Because of the current limitation of TS, you can only copy files from one directory over a network sync. So I have created a directory called "ThinkSync" on the root of each PC and set it as the network sync target. Within that directory I have created sub-directories called . . . wait for it . . . Desktop and "My Documents". So,

Off-line access would be great. Otherwise, I'm glad you guys are spending time on the documentation, it was a weak spot a few years ago.

Is the primaries mouse drivers installed on the secondary? Are the function keys configured on the secondary? I don't think the current version supports anything more than right-click, left-click and scroll wheel. But I would try to update your drivers first. I have a logitech 3-button and the 3rd button(on the scroll wheel) fails to react on the secondary. <img src="http://images.stardock.com/wc/smiles/Sad.gif" border=0 ALIGN="a

SequoiaView is one of the tools I install right after a new build. It makes the best looking tree-map of a drive (sorry Stardock). Browse to the big folders, zoom in, add your custom colors.. Link <img src="http://images.stardock.com/wc/icons/

I am pretty sure I saw the Falcon landing at one point . . . And since we're asking questions . . . [SPOILER follows] Did Palpy's master create Anakin? During the ballet (?) the senator said that his master was powerful enough to create life through midichlorians. It would explain why Anakin was predisposed to fear, anger, suffering.

I've been saying great things about TabletPCs and MP since it came out . . .unfortanatlly, I only know two other TabletPC users. I saw an article the other day about Stewart Title using Tablets (I think) for their new "eClosingRoom" and wondered if Stardock was looking at clients like that. [Ctrl][Alt][Backspace] is the equivalant of Ctrl-Alt-Delete but I (and at least one other user) have seen significant oddness in regards to it. Hibernating, suspending, screen-saving, may cause it to stop working.

I heard the other day that the airlines will be asking for full name and birth date now. Because there were too many mix-ups with people having the same name as suspected terrorists. My problem with this is why is homeland security waiting for suspected terrorists to board airplanes? If we think these people might be dangerous . .. find them, investigate them, put them away or remove them from "the LIST". Quit pretending that the security s

Stealing software is the same as shoplifting software. My kids think I am an evil parent because I don't let them burn music they don't own. And I don't care. Whether there is a lost sale or not, whether it's overpriced or not, someone wrote code expecting that it would generate income. A user who steals that software knows that the developer (distributer, manufacturer, whoever else is in the supply chain) is expectign payment and is choosing
