ThinkPad? Part of ThinkDesk? Doh! I just remembered that you are using an IBM ThinkPad.
The battery meter is part of the ThinkPad stuff. ThinkPad? Part of ThinkDesk? ObjectDesktop2005 CD is a snapshot of the ODNT suit, right? Will there be anything not available to ODNT or Wincustomize subscribers via SDC or WC? Or more succintly; if I am a current ODNT and WC subscribe
Next time my says I'm good-for-nothing I'm going to point her to this article.
Jafo had exactly ZERO issues with it.. Meowy had exactly ZERO issues with it... Chris TH has had exactly ZERO issues with it... Aaron has a TabletPC and SP2 actually improved the functionality. So I had ZERO negative issues and at least two positive issues. <img s
I saw the folloeing in an newsletter and thogut of DX media players. I hope someone who is a better developer than me might be able to use it. "Let the Scripting Guys guide you through organizing your music files for Microsoft Windows Media Player simply by using scripts. You can create a new playlist, print a copy of your song list, and copy the song information to a database or spreadsheet." <a href="http://www.microsoft.com/technet/scriptcent
Usually your *.doc files are stored in "My Documents". Uninstalling Word does not affect thse files. And when you reinstall Word (or almost any other word processecing software) it goes to My Documents as the default . . . and there you are.
Yes. You can have two PCs with two monitors controlled by one mouse and one keyboard.
You can do what I did on my kids' computer; put a rubber washer under the Win key to prevent the pushing of it. My dad did that for us kids back in '77 under the Reset key for the Apple ][.
Please tell me that i don't have to spend $1000 to get the suite.
Over the years StarDock has gotten much better aboutdocumentation (especially DesktopX) but it still seems to be a weak spot. For the record, I am amazed at how intuitive ThinkSync, Multiplicity, and KeepSafe are. SecureProcess . .. well . . the UI on that is in flux and I won't comment yet. I saw a Multiplicity post about using Control-Alt_delete/Backspace that should have been pretty easy to document in a help file. Knowi
My account settings are set to not show any skins under 3 Stars. But I am seeing two-star skins. I'm not seeing them in the Library, only the gallery. Is that the expected behavior? Is it just me?
The kids and the wife. The wife is better tonight. The kids are reruns.
Serial doesn't work for me FWIW, Stardock Sales has forwarded the serial problem to support. They informed me that Thinkdesk will authenticate via stardock ID but should accept the serial.
Serial doesn't work for me. I think that Thinkdesk via SDC has migrated to the new authentication system (using your stardock credentials instead of the serial). My serial failed but after a while the suite showed up. And while the apps are in alpha or beta they are excellent tools.<B
. . what might have been. But then I think that whad "has been" got me where I am today. And I wouldn't trade that for the world.
With a title like that, it's a good thing this isn't Fark. Heal quickly
The discounts for ODNT and/or Multiplicitity Pro customers are ? ODNT: $49.95, MP: $40 Link
12/15. But I know I'm a bad speller. I use google as my universal spell-check now. "did you mean Mischievous?"
People who get irate because they're random question isn't instantly answered by a trained professional on a forum need to get a reality check and read the docs. Agreed. And while I have been more than happy with support via official email, IRC, forums, and mental telepathy, I hate seeing Stardock bash
The question that will come up is "Is this a user forum or a Stardock support forum (monitored by Stardock employees)?" Not that it will matter to the irate user either way, but I would make it very clear on every page and act accordingly. For what it's worth, I think it's a great idea.
Does WC need the traffic? Does it want the traffic? Will it drive business to Stardock? Otherwise . . . pass on IM.
thomassen starts posting twice again. For old times sake?
Or make a widget to call those functions!
Ordered. You guys make some great products. MP Pro has changed the way I work and made me much more productive. I think Keepsafe is going to rock. I'm looking forward to learning more about SecureProcess and ThinkSync. Thanks for the sneak peek! <img src="http://images3.stardock.com/wc/icons/wc
