I think there are DesktopX objects that check POP3 accounts. I didn't look to see if there were any that integrated with Exchange/Outlook. You might check out the DX Objects library at Wincustomize.com Link <img src="http://images.stardock.com/wc/icons/wc.gif" border=0 al
I am a trillian user and proud of it. I had to really. Some family uses AIM (through AOL), work uses Windows Messanger (with SIP), Most friends use MSN. I almost never use Yahoo anymore. And I haven't used ICQ since they were bought by AOL. I use Trillian for Stardock IRC on kits without SDC and on Unbuntu (my Linux distro of late) I use Gaim. I use AdiumX on the Mac (tied into Growl - an awsome application!) AIM: zubaz25
I COULD afford 19.95 for subscribtion, but, i don't think i would spend money on something virtual. You could burn your skins to a CD.
Two feature suggestions: 1) Show how many tokens a game costs in the top frame, next to version or update date. 2) Put a "Buy token" item in the list of games. 3) Put a link to the demo version in SDC in the top frame. [There will be demo versions, right?] Looking forward to seeing the rest of the games listed in SDC.
What a way to start the day! I update SDC first thing this morning. I look at the Game section and see a bar indicating that I have no tokens! I want to spend tokens!
Or you could put a mike near your HD Super Wizop MikeB314: I'm kind of busy, but you could try a "mic" instead. I had my little brother, Mike, get unde
(Tiger's widgets are actually floating webpages and can therefore utilize things like CSS and HTML) Can't DX use the internet explorer browser control to display HTML?
I am engrossed in Italo Calvino's novel If on a Winter's Night a Traveler . It's too bad that I have to work and deal with the kids. I would most like to find a spot in the study and fall into it. From the wikipedia entry: Perhaps Calvino's most famous novel, this begins with the words, "You are about to begin r
TotalGaming only carries the Windows versions of software Bummer.
Are you sure that the number in the email is not the order number instead of the serial number? I think that was the case with me (way back when). Perhaps on Monday when the Stardock crew is back in the office you can email [email protected] to straighten out the situation. </a
I've been thinking of trying gish for a while now. Linux and Mac version available through TotalGaming.net? I saw it was available via the Chronic Logic web-site. I have both those paltforms (as well as Windows). It looks like an interesting game.
This seems like a nifty little program... It would make a nice widget . . . But I'll stick to {Window Key}-{R} And I am I the only one who catches themselves calling it the "Open Apple" key? <img src="http://images.stardock.com/wc/icons/

Well you could try to explain to her that Linux is immune to spyware and malware and viruses bsides the need for no defragmanting the hard drive. Start up times are faster and all the software is mostly free. And Linux uses less resources than XP. Linux is immune? I remember hearing that about Macs unt
Better yet check out Ubuntu (with Gnome) Link and Kubuntu (with KDE) Link This is a very nice, user friendly linux Distro. They'll even send you a free copy, or many multiples for you to share amongst your friends. I just built out a PC for my daughter for college. Installed KNOPPIX, then Mandrake, t

I am contantly on the phone and setting up meetings around the globe. I was looking for a widget that would first, show me timezones of citties around the globe and second, show me the best times to have meetings. Here is the meeting planner I use now: Link Thanks!
Ok, how do I upgrade? Upgrade: Link
It would be nice and appropiate for people like us. Think of it this way; the ODNT subscribers (of which I am since 2001) have to put up with the crashes and tweaks so that you, the real winners don't have to deal with buggy software. <img src="http://images.stardock.com/wc/smiles/Wink.gif" border=0 A
ctrl-alt-backspace isn't working for me at all. I have the purchased the pro version. Suggestions? Wait for the beta?
That checks if your own computer is connected to the internet, but it doesn't ping any other machines. I missed the question. Sorry. And for the record PING is not port specific. You could get ugly and do a telnet to the server and port and if you got a response parse it out and return an action. <
