I don't claim to know or care to find out all that happened, but I'll still be here to annoy you all. For the foreseeable future. Someone's gotta push Windows 8 after all. ;)

I've said it before, but I only play LAN. My conn isn't good enough to play multi (though I'd have been playing something else by now anyway.)

[quote who="DrJBHL" reply="25" id="3226255"] "The advertising opt-out helps the Kindle Fire better compete with the Google Nexus 7, another highly-recommended $199, 7-inch tablet, which lacks advertising. The two tablets are still very different, though, with the Kindle Fire much more focused on letting owners consume Amazon's library of content (although it also has Amazon's app store) and the Nexus 7 more tuned towards Google's mobile services and running all the apps avail

I tried to update E:WoM (for shits and giggles) to version 1.4 and GCII:UE, using Stardock Central... and.... yea right. As if. Face palm. Nothing recognized anything else. Elemental wasn't registered. SDC made me delete GCII:UE and then wouldn't want to install the update. Impulse stopped dead in it's tracks and I can

Yeah, once you get an x360 HD installing is the way to go. It cuts off the noise from the DVD drive while playing. Transferring gamer profiles and such is easy in the system menus. I no longer have a 360 so I can't walk you through it, not that you'd need me to yet anyway.

I'll *probably* buy this game when it gets dx11 support. I didn't really like the beta. The new mechanics felt clunky and the story segments had horrible voice acting, bleh. And if this is like any other forum I've mentioned it I'll get attacked by fanboys. Whee.

If I ever buy an OEM computer (big if) there's no question that I'll use the Reset feature as soon as I get it to wipe all their shit off it. Also, saying 'big business' is their only concern would mean they never added that feature in the first place. I could mention antitrust here, since Europe is still on their ass for including other things in their OS... But I really don't care, so that's all I'll add on the topic.

How often does 100% of ANY population EVER agree on one thing or do a particular thing for the same reason? None, unless your population is very small. The truth is, Microsoft has provided a massive virtually compulsory change to Windows without much warning or discussion, and it i
