I don't think there's a lot more to read into it then that.[/quote] According to the conference call it's still holding at about 1.3 million subscribers. Considering people are still throwing numbers like 500k about I'd think there's a lot of misinformation going around.

EAs network in recent times has been based on acquisitions and NOT natural and actual growth, the company has been operating in the RED for years. The Secret World Just Cause 2 Saints Row 3 Crackdown 1 Burnout Paradise (I love the newer Need for Speeds as well but they don't do the full on city thing.) And Arkham City deserves an honorable mention.

I thought 2 sucked hardcore. 3 was actually pretty damn good except for being a remake. 4 was just...ugh. I'm seriously hoping Generals 2 is a 64 bit only title, but I doubt it. We&#

We are mad because EA took these franchises and crapped all over them with zero quality control. Go ahead and try to play C&C4. It is two games spliced together and neither well implemented because EA cut funding to both and then merged the teams, firing a few employees just before release and the whole rest of the team after. You simply disable the secure boot feature. Assuming the vendor is following UEFI guidelines, it's that easy. Having an option for the user to disable it will not take away MS certification. Good lord people! THIS WAS NOT DESIGNED BY MICROSOFT. They are using an EXISTING security chain in UEFI to do this. They are not blocking out Linux by making their OS more secure. You should be able to disable UEFI Secure Boot on any machine (depending on the OEM) to install Linux. Making MS out to be the bad guy because they're using something already available to computers is retarded.
