Lets just get this straight. This new game from 2K is called AlienShock. Not XCom. Xcom is simply a marketing thing. Its AlienShock. BioShock... with aliens.
Seeing as I can find no evidence of anything called that, I'm guessing you either made it up or it came from Game Infarcer.

I gotta say I never thought Spore sounded like it'd be the stellar hit everyone thought it would be. It sounded like they were trying too hard to get a lot of different stuff in there. As they say, you can do one thing great, or a lot of things poorly. I never really had anything to apply that statement to until Spore.

But in this you can go on quests and conquer other kingdoms. AWESOME!!! Sims 3 has an interesting neighborhood (PC and NPC) progression system that I'd love to see in other types of games. I'll be there if it's what I'm expecting it to be.

I hope you Stardock guys and gals are looking at this. I've never been this impressed with a new download service. [e digicons]8|[/e] (Of course their selection sucks so far, but I love the experience more than I ever did with any other download service.)

Also every prohibition of non-violent human desires creates a black market like the mafia during the alcohol prohibition, or the drug lords now, or pimps and gang wars, etc. It's funded and made possible by laws. I like unlocking new cars and guns and stuff. I just played a longish session though, and pretty much every group I got into was full of idiots. Idlers, teamkillers, whatever. So if you do get into the game, find some good peeps to play with or prepare to waste some effort. I'm seriously hoping the balancing patch I mentioned weeds this crap out. It's practically unplayable at least a third of the time as is. Still, with some ex
The problem here is unlike a book, which can withstand the test of time, a video game cannot and people in this day and age cannot understand Baldur's Gate the way you do because the game is virtually archaic. While the game was top of the line for its time, you cannot put BG 2 up to a modern game for a modern gamer and try to explain why BG is better. The game is simply too old. Its because of this I cannot agree with you BG is better th

I think APB is alright. I plan to play it more once they put out the team balancing/able to set off duty patch. Once that's out I could see playing more with it. But it'd definately be more fun if I had more friends playing...with me being the only person I know in it it's a bit hard to really get into.

I don't hate Space Siege. I don't really care for it enough to play through it, but its playable when I can't think of anything better to do. (Admittedly that doesn't happen often.) Of course, I got it for free for preodering Alpha Protocol, so *shrug* Alpha Protocol was great, too. I dunno whats up with the reviews, but the console versions are getting worse reviews. While a little disappointed by DS2 I still had fun with it, I'll definately

My only complaint is the cover system feels really lacking after playing Splinter Cell: Conviction. That's not really a big deal though. I think I'll be running through this a third time (at least) as figuring out the best way to talk to all the characters is a game in itself. :)

It's a shame too cause a espionage game ala Mass effect definately sounded cool. Looks like Obsidian once again has created a game with great potential only to fail miserably short of the mark. Here's hoping they can patch the game to an enjoyable level. I still want to buy the game if they can salvage it.
I just think they've

All you've said is that they had sales...which doesn't disqualify what Brad said. (Yeah, I know I was slow to the party.&
