Windows Phone 7 looks to have a strong Xbox 360 relation from what I read. WinCE7 may or may not be related to the WP7 OS, though I'd sure hope so. ASUS will soon have tablets based on Win7, Android, and WinCE7. Microsoft might be late to the party but I would never count them out. IE9 is completely unexpected from MS too, so they may finally be in a position to turn heads on all their product lines instead of embarrassing themselves in a good half of them.

The DLC & stuff packs are largely ignorable. I bought some because I felt like it and played way too much of the game (still do) but *shrug*. It's just eye candy, doesn't really do anything for the experience. The expansions are great though. In Sims 2 the only expansions I really felt added to the experience as a whole were University and Open for Business, everything else was so limited in what it did. I can't wait for the next one for 3.

The expansions for Sims 3 are a lot better than the ones for 2. I've been very happy with em, but I'm also sure they'll never stop coming. Until 4 is out.
