I personally don't celebrate Halloween, and not just because of the reasons that you mentioned, but I don't care if others do it. It's your choice if you allow your kids to participate in that stuff. It's just like people allowing their kids to believe in the Easter Bunny, or Santa Clause; most of it has a Pagan/"dark" history, but it's not usually treated and respected in that manner now.
