I received my liscense two and a half years ago. Here in my state, we had to have 30 hours of driving with an adult, ten of which had to be in the dark. We too had to do parallel parking, freeway (expressway) driving, simulated driving, two point turn, three point turn, all of the stops possible, and many other things that we were graded on. I have been in two auto wrecks, neither of which was my fault, nor was I given a ticket. Both of t

However, there are still very many of us who arrived at our beliefs only because we did question, we did doubt, we did think, ponder, search and study. Actually, I would place a rather large bet (if I gambled) that most people have arrived at their religious decisions, whether theistic, or otherwise, t

Silver and Jade, as far as I'm concerned, theists and athiests are equally dogmatic. Both chose to believe in something that has no factual evidence to support or discredit it. I myself would say I am anti-dogmatic (I'd like to think adogmatic, but that may be giving myself too much credit). Only a hardline theist, which I'm assu

"If we had imposed a new gasoline tax after 9/11, demand would have been dampened and gas today would probably still be $2 a gallon. But instead of the extra dollar going to Saudi Arabia- where it ends up with mullahs who build Islamic religious schools that preach intolerance- that dollar would have gone to our own Treasury to p

I admit CNN is left leaning, but ABC and NBC are pretty straight No they're not. They are as left leaning as the rest. They wouldn't miss a *chance* to bash Bush. <BR

Excuse me the *left* is NO better! LoL...I didn't say it was. But you don't find many of the "left" bloggers on here calling people boogers and such, as Patriot has. *rolling eyes* this election has gotten way out of hand. I believe I will be disenfranchised, and vote for a third party. Th

When confronted with password woes, I have a tendency to forget all my passwords, mainly because I have 24 that I have to remember wtih my bank account, school, and internet accounts. I have a tendency to use 4 variations of the same one. My school ID number is 1086076, so I have passwords like 1080607060, or a1607g6h, (my initials) etc.

your version of god sounds pretty arbitrary, then. I'd rather just believe that it's an aribtrary universe without some meddling sky fairy fucking around with people like chess pieces... I prefer my view, thanks. Never said you had to believe the same...</f

Perhaps this "fry issue" has not made it's way to UT as of yet, because our fries are still hot, and salty, and good. Then again, Utah is always about 5 years behind everyone else... I do wish that Hardees would come back though....

People refuse to get past there age-old bias of refusing to vote for the best person for the job; instead they would rather vote for their party representitives because they are so set in their ways. People would rather do it the "easy" way of just voting straight Republican, or straight Democratic. They don't want to take the time to really educate themselves without their mud-colored bias afflicting their view.

I know how you feel *grins wickedly*. I became a member about a week ago and the past week has been torture when I can't get on and see what controversial responses I got on my previous posts.
