Well, that sucks. A fast ship (like a souped-up transport) can move many parsecs in a turn. I believe my current transports move something to the tune of 16 parsecs, so enemy vessels could be on top of me before the sensor station even detects them. :(

Yeah. Dropping an asteroid on a planet is pretty permanent in terms of damage to the ecosystem. ;) I just don't use any tactics that risk damage to the planet. If I'm attacking a VERY WELL defended planet, I might sometimes use Mini-Soldiers to enhance my attack...but most of the time my soldiers are good enough to win without the use of special tactics.

Question. I had a really bright idea. I took a huge hull class, pasted a whole bunch of sensors on it, and then built it. The whole idea was to use this device essentially as a floating sensor platform which would monitor space all across the length of my galactic empire. According to the Shipyard, the sensor ship should have a detection radius of over 50 parsecs. However, when I actually build the ship, the info panel says that it has a range of 15 parsecs, and indeed that appears to be the dis

Well, fellow Dems. It seems we've had another election yanked out from under us... But don't worry. We get another shot in 2006 and another in 2008. Time to set to work, gentlemen.

9-11 did not occur under Clinton's watch, and Clinton DID warn the incoming Bush Administration to be vigilant. And I hate to be honest, but the only reasons that I can see for backing Bush are ignorant ones. There was a time when I was more politically correct. There was a time when I would have been more subtle. But I've lost my patience and tolerance with the results of the election. I'm calling it as I see it. What I said is no more inflam

Politics, Inc. America Gets Exactly the Government it Deserves Like most Democrats who fought tooth and nail to put John Kerry in the White House, I was rather surprised when we didn't win. Or maybe we did win and we've had another election stolen out from under us. I don't know and ,in a way, I do not care anymore. America is going to get EXACTLY the government it deserves. We are already beginning to see the cons
