When D/L'ing a BootSkin zip... What do I change the extension to, so it will install into the progran correctly? I've recently installed ver. 1.03a, I had issues with 1.05. I did delete the recommended driver file like instructed on the BootSkin page. tyia Sam_Adams
Reinstall bootskin and logonstudio, set back to XP default in both then uninstall them again. Then you can reinstall SDC WC and OD, or reinstall them first, bootskin and logonstudio are not part of or have anything related to these as far as install/uninstall Thanks Apprentice Cavan1, That did the
did you set everything back to default prior to uninstalling? all the StarDock products should have been uninstalled through SDC first, I think No I didn't... geeze... I guess I've gotta install everything again to fix this... <img src="http://images.stardock.com/wc/smiles/Sad.gif"
And since then, when I've needed to re-boot or turn on this machine, I'll get the last boot screen that I used and the last LogOn that I used... 3 out of 5 times my puter never gets past the boot screen when I start or re-boot, I need to hit the re-set button and click on Start Windows Normally... I've completly uninstalled SDC, Wincustomize, & OD through Add/Remove. There are still Registry Values associated with BootScreen and LogOn under the Win
Anyone?
Is this part of the free IP? I'm trying to update through SDC and I'm getting failures. (I have saved the log, btw) I have 3.00i{b}.002 already installed. I'm getting the message that my registration can not be verified... TIA for any help.
lol damn brackets 3.00g{B}.002 to 3.00i{B}.002
Sorry Sir, I've been busy... Nope no other prog. for Icons... I'll give that thing in the link a try tomorrow during the day and I'll let ya know. Thanks for your help so far Oh... My Version (was 3.00g .002 dated 9/02/05) Updated to 3.00i .002 this afternoon
I think I woulda found that out in the last 11 months that I've had it...
Oh Yea, I know they need to be extracted... They've been unzipped to IP... Unzipped to a folder that I made on my C Drive, and also unzipped to a folder that I made on the desktop... None of these work. I'm out of ideas.
Grrr... Not workin' What I get is... a green 'plus' sign at the bottom left of where the icon I'm changing is... Also a yellow triangle with an exclamation point with-in it at the top left...
Yep, Sir Bichur That's them... Thanks for the link also, nice stuff on that site Any ideas on how to get them to work through IconPackager ?
I forget which site it was that I got these from, but it was a link in one of the posts from the galleries here... It's 2 sets of Icons that're zipped (named Sketch & Penstyle) I've tried to re-name the zips .IP, tried Exploring and Dragging and Dropping to the desktop and installing them into the Icon Packager that way... Saving them to my C-Drive and using the 'Search' in IP.. Nada... How do I go about being able to use these icons
Thanks Corky I appreciate the response
I was deleting un-used WB skins using the "Configure WB" screen. I looked in the Stardock Folder on my C-Drive and skins that I deleted are still in there, Do I have to delete from the folder to completely remove it from my puter? Also, in my Toolbars section of Configure WB, I have multiple images of a set, & How do I remove un-used Toolbar Icon sets I no longer want, I see no Delete option for these. Thanks Sam <img src
LOL... When I look at the GALLERY, I'm seeing alot of Doubles there...
How can images 'owned' by a company be used to make logons?
Looking at a playboy doesn't have the same spark as when I had to sneak it lol
If you have an MSN passport, you could join this group, and they have people there that can read HiJackThis logs, Post it in a new thread with a short description as to what your problems are... 95% of the time it only takes a few re-postings of new logs, after 'fixing' what they suggest. Much more simple then doing any Sys. Restores (which really isn't all that healthy for your puter to begin with) <a href="http://group
Link it pays to look around a bit
Ok, Now I'm totally confused, I've already bought a full subscription from Stardock, and when I click on the link to 'purchase' ObjectDock ver 1.1 (from the OD page) I'm taken to the website for the download, and in the description it's called freeware. Since I do have the full subscription already... Where would the Version that needs to be purchased be? Sorry for being a duh, but I've got the flu lol
Wait a minute... There's just Tape, no Tabs... The tape is at the bottom ummmm... HUH?
Actually, they're both freeware, so I installed ver.1.1 and it went in over top of the of 1.05 ok. I tried the background again and it worked. I guess I was just a bit too 'paranoid' lol Thanks for your reply webgizmos
I currently have OD ver. 1.05.505 installed and running. I downloaded the new Taped-Tabbed Background by CerebroJD tonite. but everytime I try to use it, I always get an error and it has to close. I was wondering if it has anything to do with not having OD plus ver. 1.1 installed?? If I install the plus ver. will it install overtop of the older version, without me uninstalling it first?
