No one said you were wrong, rat. I just wasn't going to give the answer up yet. That's all. But, for the record, you are wrong!

Yeah...It wasn't even a direct comment to LW. I just remembered because I saw it here. I've seen it around quite a bit here and there. It just seems like people use their struggle to justify things. It just wrong. When people start doing that, the struggle and the knowledge people gained through the struggle loses it's meaning and importance. I know it's off topic. You can delete if if you want.
Ahhh. You all look so happy!

there will be a new wave of profit based private schools out there that may not even be better than the public schools. The way to fix public schools is not to abandon them. Yup.
You pictured me as a baby? I think I need to read your descriptions again. I thought you were the brunette inthe lower pic. Hhmmm....
Personally, i dont like the Salvation Army. I'm with you on this ine. I don't like them either. I think it's all a facade.
Thanks for the advice Fazz. These kids are in an intervention. They have literally failed out of math, and this is an attempt to ensure they don't fall further behind.
A second post: A lot of us grew up on the poverty line, always scrap by, nearly die, overcome our demons, whatever. The arrogance that surrounds posting and nearly bragging about these things is sick. Just sick.
Draginol When something becomes a "right" the quality of it seems to go down. Our high schools suck. That's because there's little competition involved. They're "free" so there's less concern about the quality. Some High Schools suck because teacher education programs suck. The more I read abo
Yup, dabe. Yo nailed it. Vouchers are a joke. One of the reasons that students tend to do better in private schools is because their parents are paying butt load for their education. So, as they write that check for tuition, they realize how important it is for their children to actually get an education. They take a higher interest because it is draining their bank accounts and personally affects them. They put pressure ontheir children, as well.
Language Arts teacher at school for very bad, no good kids The best kind! There are so many teachers in your fam...well, I guess just a couple, but still more than usual. Teachers always seem to clump together like that. My three younger siblings have all decided they want to be teachers after I graduated! My loves parents are both teachers overseas. He said all through his teen years, he couldn't wait to get away from the teachers. Th
Today was my first day of three weeks teaching middle school math. During second period, one of the boys, who happens to tower over me, grabbed another kid's binder and whipped it across the room. Papers, pencils, and books went flying everywhere. Whew! Glad I wasn't standing in the line of fire, although I was near. The papers were at all around me. The kid who
You don't want to hear this, but toughen up lady! Live it up. Spread yourself out across your whole bed. Eat too much, his portion too. Fart, let one rip and laugh about it. He won't hear it! Then he'll be back and you'll have those moments where you can't stay off each other, and hopefully all your farts will be out of ya by that point...hehe. ll
It's becoming clear now...
I like kids, and I have psychological problems. With the number of psch courses I've taken ranging from birth to death, through social issues and abnormal occurances, including the chemistry of the brain....I've officially found myself in every disorder! Whew, Whoooo! Oh, and I should never be left alone with chemicals, even with goggles, aprons, eye washes, and safety blankets. I made many pretty colors, though!
Guess the context of this quote...maybe it'll earn you an insightful. You came right in the middle. It went off a few minutes ago, and it's going off again in a couple minutes. -O
Never mind. I just read your second newest article. Oops. Hope you feel better! ll

When a friend of my brothers came back from Iraq on leave, we all hung out. He didn't appear to be a man. He was capable of things that men are capable of, but he wasn't a man. I don't know where the cut off is, or where to draw the line. I hadn't thought of this term an an insult, previously. My grandpa, a WWII vet calls us all kids. We're his kids. The kids are fighting the war, he says. Well, not the weathly kids. Mostly poor and middle cla
