i'm still having the issue of all transparency gone after a reboot. it doesn't matter what skin i use. if it has transparency, it's gone after a reboot. i always have to reapply the skin. all drivers are up to date. on another note, whatever happened to greenreaper?

wow, kona. have you built a rig using a bulldozer proc? no? neither have i? for that matter, nobody here has. i love how you chime in with that bulldozer comment when everything published about the proc has been speculation. try sticking to procs that one can currently buy. and yes, i said "anything amd has". starkers, i agree with you in saying the amd 1100 is a good proc. i've built 3 or 4 rigs using that proc. there's nothing wrong with either rig. i still prefer the 2500K or 2600K, tho. i'll keep my 2600K, 16 gigs of ram, corsair force gt 240, asus p67 mobo, and radeon 6970. yeah, i know the z68 is supposed to be better but i have yet to see any feature the z68 has over the p67 that i would implement. you can build great rigs using procs by either amd or intel. it just come

i5-2500K with 8 gigs of ram (or 16 for another $40). i build quite a few of rigs with that proc. it will run circles around anything amd has. that isn't meant to be critical of amd. they have a few good procs. i'll keep my i7-2600K, tho.

every P67 and Z68 chipset mobo i've used in new rigs, except for MSI boards, has had AHCI enabled by default. i still go into the BIOS to make sure it's enabled before i spin windows. it seems most AMD boards are in IDE mode by default. if a customer wants a pre-built rig, i try to convince them to buy a SysteMAX rig from TigerDirect. they are pretty good about having AHCI enabled. it isn't always but most times it is. plus, they usually use ASUS or Gigabyte boards in their rigs.<

well, i installed the latest beta and my taskbar isn't transparent until i reapply the skin. and that may have come across as me trying to be a smart a**. sorry, i wasn't trying to be one at all. i'm just pointing out what is going on with my rig currently.

installed it yesterday. when turning on rig this morning, my taskbar wasn't transparent. using sakura. tried corsair, sabertooth, and primo too. with each of those skins, after rebooting or booting from shutoff, my taskbar isn't transparent. after reapplying the skin, everything is cool. for what it matters, the 'about wb' info is as follows: Your computer has a Windows Experience Index base score of 7.5 Your Windows Graphics Experience score is 7.7 WindowBlinds version
