Isn't it grand?! Also, plenty of races have additional techs that are worth well above the 1-200 tech points you get playing as a custom race. I read elsewhere that the Drath and Yor have upwards of 650 points worth of bonus tech. Makes you wonder, huh? But I've also read that the dev's may have included factors not readable in the xml file, such as innate opinions towards other alien species and the like. But basically all this means is use the Drath as you would a custom race. It's just that m

You aren't playing on one of the custom maps are you? They restrict your choice of opponents some times. So do scenarios. If not then I don't know, it worked fine for me in the game I just played. Sounds like you arent using the example mod. Some of the races were disables. Please dont use caps for header.
not to mention this is your 3rd post on similar topics
dont need to OP on the same topic. Doesnt seem like a bug.
Stardock obviously wants to do a jewlery pack, so it presents it in the most pleasing form possible ($8.95 instead of $9). When GC2 originally was released, they indicated that omitting Multiplayer shaved approximately $10 from the price....and yet when the poll was done on MP, they asked if people would be willing to pay $20 (not $19.95 or $9.95) for the expans
haha ya, bump this, stardock needs a look
Your running the graphics to high. Most of you have only 1/2 to 1 gig of ram... thats not that much. Your running the newest graphics card but your bottle necked at your ram. Yes virtual ram helps but it has to write it to HD then swap it to memory then it can use it, only to be swapped again. Lower your res. if that fixs the problem you know its your computor and by looking at your specs, get more ram its really cheap.
Doesn't help. All it does is allow more projectiles to come out and dance around. The laser-equipped enemy will just fire a lot and then suddenly stop, while a flock of projectiles slowly wind their way to the target. Speed it up even more. The weapon speeds are relativly realistic
sorry photobucket made it smaller sorry ya they dont somehow do it. They resize images to make them a certain file size. If you are using photoshop save it under a lower quality. Also it happens this isnt that big of a deal.
Dont fix whats not broken, game rocks, this idea is good just like the "carrier idea". It sounds good but it would fuck with this game to hard, expecialy factorys that produce people....
Yes, the precursor mine looks like a crystal. and gives a bonus to production. The precursor library supposedly gives a 700% bonus to research, has a .png included in the xml file, but has rarely if ever been seen, and not proven with a screenshot to my knowledge.
somewhat inspired by the economy issue post someone had and also because the Civfanatics.com site has this capability. my idea is to have a way to attatch gamesaves to a post so that if someone needs some help with something large such as economy, others could look at it and help out. I don't know if its possible to implement it or not, but its an ide
its actually a special thing that can't be researched normally and can only be discovered if you have creative or lucky. I'm not sure which one because I think its suppoused to be from creative, but in one game in the demo I had the lucky trait and not the creative and I got that ultradrive thing. I don't know of any other techs that can be revealed like that with t
OP ----8:04:08 PM Bump 8:04 PM troll Ya depth could be displayed in color saturation. that would be sweet.
OP -------10:30:05 PM Bump ---10:30 PM wow your a loser. I was going to answear this but now i am not.
given enuff cititzens anyone can defeat a tech superior. ( Can we say General Custer?) The indians simply did attrition damage. The general had the superior tech but alas it was to no avail. Sure some of the indians died but in the end they won.. Check your facts! The Indians in this battle had repeating rifles which had a faster fire rate than Custer's men's rifles
I need a link needs and wants are different. This sounds like a want, and your very demanding, good job finding it your self though
I just keep the bars almost always at 33-33-34. I find this very usefull and ill be able to buy colony ships and it makes me alot of money.
Well, no I don't think it would. You're killing your own citizens (repeatedly), you don't always get a free tech I think, and it's costly in ships and soldiers. It's not sustainable, especially since the AI is hardly likely to allow you to do it. Besides, if they're tech superior, you'll have a hard time invading anyway. well what you could do
If you wanna use unarmed defender to prevent invasions, you build only ONE per planet, not a dozen, how some AI do. Also you don't put shields or armor, like some AI do too. That's just wasted mony. ok people read this it explains it. There is a stragegy, its very easy to see if you open your eyes. 1) Why are there defences?<br/
thank you for waiting awhile to bump your post (no sarcasm most people wait 30 seconds) i had a similar problem restarting my comp fixed that. if that doesnt (which i bet you have) try a reinstall
I'd reinstal the game, but I no longer have the box thus no more serial code. sounds like you have a pirated version.... please dont ask for support if you didnt even buy it... you just dont lose a box to a game and by box you mean jewel case. Also you could download it from stardock.
Cheese tactic. It would work, but why would you do it? if they have alot more techs then you. Everytime you take over the planet you get a tech. You basicly trading in citizins for techs.
good work bumping your own post in under a min. I believe the current system for voteing works great, i get taxs in all the time. Usualy the computor doesnt take the extreme so if i want something ill vote what i think they would vote on. the difference between a small tax and a big tax is the same between none and small thats why this system works so well.
