Hey, some of the Mars Volta guys are from my hometown. :) They've come back to play here a few times. As for getting them, sometimes they seem a bit noisy to me, but they are pretty original. Sigh...I see Pervy is annoying you once again. You only smiled just a bit at his Spanish class misfortune. I'll smile big for ya, then! :D

Very touching and sweet, Mark. I am envious of anyone who has a father like that. ;)

Here is my writing challenge to all you talented word artists: Bring an inanimate object to Life. Have a conversation with a coffee cup, create a love story between a hoe and a hose, have the can of yams on aisle 9 go on a rant. Have us guess at your object...OR...have it be very obvious. Make it fun, make it
We went on a field trip to a ranch this year, too! But we went to a sheep/cow/horse ranch, and our pioneer home was a log cabin by the river.I love field trips!
Awww, I would have loved to take pics near the River. Sounds really nice as well, Marcie. :)
I like how the pioneers put all their valuables on the roof. In Egypt, they do the opposite and put all their rubbish on their roofs. It looked like a great field trip, Rose.
Mark, I never knew that about the Egyptians...lol. And yes, it was a very nice field trip. :)

Here are a few pics I took from our yearly class field trip. This year: Cattleman's Ranch in West Texas A peacock whose colors I couldn't quite catch (wish he would have come a bit closer...) <img style="vertical-align: middle;" src="http://i149.photobucket.com/albums/s50/roseisroseisrose/peacockcattlemans-2.jpg" alt="" width="433" height="330"

I don't know why, but I remember having trouble with Humanities courses when I was in college. Even with alot of effort, I think my best grades were Bs. Gosh darn it, I could have used you as a tutor.

Hiya, Mark. :) Thanks for updating the goings on in your life. Glad to hear that you and Toni are working at getting healthier. Can't wait to see your new tattoo. As for your band name, I just think it's good that you and your bandmates did finally come to an agreement on it instead of staying in a funk because of it. I haven't been doing much reading up on anyone's fiction, but maybe when summer break gets here, I'll have alot more time to catch up. I'm sure I

Wow, Tova, this is some deep and serious stuff. I am sorry for what your brother is going through. I don't know what else to day except that you and your sibling are in my thoughts and prayers.

I try to start my prayers with a Thank You...but now and then I do forget. :P I do have to say, though, that I am making more of an effort to pray nightly and in the mornings right when I wake up (just a very short one).
