Honestly, I have never tipped a maid. Maybe it's something I should consider next time I stay at a hotel (which hasn't been very much). We are pretty good at tipping at restaurants, though. UDigIt is my tipping calculator...lol. He can figure out tips in a matter of seconds.

Good question. How does it hurt you? I think too many people see homosexual relationships as vulgar and disgusting...and that is why they are so against these types of unions. Yes, of course there are vulgar and disgusting homosexuals out there...just as there are vulgar and digusting heterosexuals. My God is a loving, accepting being...loving and accepting no matter what your sexual preference is. I say if a relationship is formed out of love and
. Be real. Be vunerable. You don't have to give out your address or phone number, just stop protecting yourself out of fear. You can say your kids name. You can admit your flaws. You can say what you're thinking that you're afraid everyone will shun you for. Just be out with it. Stop hiding. No one respects a fraud and no one believes a perfect person.
Being this way is kind of hard to shake off, especially when you've gone through life being this type of person

Glad to see you have some children with good taste in music. I shocked some people the other day when we were discussing music (all were about my age), and I mentioned my son was really into the 60s and 70s music - and of course he is only 15! His favorite group is t

Take comfort in the fact that if you was to have small children in the house there's worse ways to find a dime..
Yikes...maybe I shouldn't ask...lol...but I'll guess somewhere in the diaper area...;)

(Just a little nod to Hall & Oates there, in case you didn't know...and the fact that I haven't written anything since late April) ~*~Speaking of music, I had students doing projects on a novel they were reading. One of the projects they could choose to do was to make a CD cover based on the story...and choose songs that connected with the story. Many chose the doo wop songs that had to do with the novel...and of course, you had students who chose today's popular

Your Pervy McPervington might make a good match with my Slutsky McSlutskerton...she's a gal I know of. ;) Seriously, though, this guy sounds like a moron. Hope you get plenty of opportunities to be away from him.

I think you've gotten some excellent advice from above. I would like to add that you should not visualize your summer as already being lost to you. I really do hope that you make the best of it.

I say take a while to observe what the JU environment is all about. Yes, it is your blog, and you can write whenever or whatever you want, but this is also a community. And in this writing community, it would only be decent of you to respect the fact that others want their stuff read and not have to worry about being bumped off a page by you. Also, learn to take some heat if you write an opinionated article. We have very opinionated and outspoken people on here, if you haven't
It can actually be a very entertaining show to watch. My wife and I enjoy it.I prefer Rockstar: Supernova, which you can still see performances from on Youtube! Pop stinks, Rock rules! Even though the singers are all just butchering good songs!
Just to be fair to AI, there are rock performers and performances on there. I loved the first Rockstar, but wasn't to crazy about the second season. I think if they ever bring that show back they need to retool a bit.
