damn. Maybe I could buy the rights. It will mean a hike in tuition costs...

See, I play the "Oh my! I can't believe it's you!" game to complete strangers. It's funny how often people are like, "Oh yeah! How are you? It's so great to see you again!" But, since she could list schools, she's probably not playing. Or she's a stalker. Now you know the real reason for having yearbooks. It isn't to help you remember the good times, it's to help you figu
Did you know that you could go to jail for having tuberculosis? You can. If you are classified as a public health threat and be placed in a jail cell with special ventilation. Mandatory quarantine while being treated like a criminal. I won't waste time by cutting and pasting here, but you can find the articles at whichever site you prefer. Foxnews.com --
I really can't believe it. I know it seems like my kind of show, but I still didn't think I'd like it. The Dresden Files. For some reason, this wizard detective show are trapped me into watching it. He's a fairly decent wizard, and the ghost he has working for him is nice and sarcastic. It's also fairly accurate as to what history would say certain herbs
And if you were confused about if it was a night gown or not, it tells you so. Of course, it tells you so in Chinese... But she is adorable.
Welcome to my home state! I couldn't think who would be writing about beer in Arkansas. Safe driving. Glad your back is feeling better!
They are not twigs. Thin and twigs are different things. If I can see ribs, she, or he for that matter, cannot be a good cook. I am, of course, biased.
Fingers crossed! Nope, toes! But I'll keep 'em crossed for you. (Ok, I have to be honest, you can only have the left foot because I need the right foot for myself. sorry)
That's cool, I'm down with it. Good, cause I don't know who else would teach Spanish lit. I may not have a name for my school, but I do have a motto: "We get Lit!"
I can cook, does that count for anything? I'm not a twig, but can any good cook be a twig?
These are my favorite kind of articles. I love reading about other people's life. Does that make me a voyeur? Anyway... That's a lot of travel! Driving? I couldn't do it. I get too car sick. Are you having buyer's remorse? Don't. It's a big deal, but you'll make it. (I know you needed the pep talk, right?) I'm going to have to make a dentist
I'm not sure. I had one reply to an article, but I'm not sure how they did it.
No, I refuse to have a school run by a woman that focuses on Feminist criticism, or gender studies. It's too cliché. Besides, you're in charge of Spanish Lit. You already picked it, so you're stuck with it now. And I'm not a big fan of unicorns... I prefer dragons. A whole section on animal lit? I'll need to see a proposed reading list.
SHE-LIT Hmmm, I'm not sure. It sounds suggestive in some way. I'm not sure how, but it does. Of course, I don't think Middle Earth University would go over so well either.
It does seem rather strange... I would have thought it was Chinese for Disney or something along those lines...
My own graduate school... now there's an idea! It could be dedicated solely to literature -- You'd be more than welcome to head the Spanish Lit department, and I have a friend who would make a great assistant. Actually, I have several friends who each have different lit specialties -- our school could be ready to go by next year. But what to call it?
It was pretty icky... kinda juicy too.
Over my spring break, I visited the University of Tennessee at Knoxville and was unimpressed by what I saw. The campus was falling apart, the people I spoke to were snobby and unhelpful. You would think that, since they did let me in, I would be worthy to talk to, yet they each acted as though I were wasting their time. I also discovered that the wonderful English
It means nightwear. I Googled shuidemei, found it in a Chinese blog, translated the page, and that's the translation it gave. So, if you want to trust google, then nightwear is a pretty good answer.
There's nothin' like having more cushion for your pushin' you know... I was waiting for someone to say it. Hey Tex, You might appreciate this: WWW Link
If were we friends I would always get the hint and never keep asking if you were okay. Instead I'd probably would say something like, "You look good! Are you losing weight? You know losing weight is going help you catch a man." If you were my friend, you would also know to run away quickly before you "accidentally" got a bruised shin or bloody nose.
LW: That's a good idea! I wouldn't even have to tell the truth, just start making up some horrible stuff until they leave. Brilliant! Doc: That sounds about like me. But usually when I look fine, people don't bother to ask further, even if I really do feel rotten. If I look like I'm in a bad mood though, they act as though I was on a high ledge!
I'll go so far to say that I'm not attracted to: skinny guys, super-super buff guys (We're talking pro body builders) or guys with baby faces. I also prefer guys with facial hair, don't ask me why. I suppose the fact that my mother named me after Mrs. Claus makes me this way. But, as Tex says, once fat starts falling over the knees, that's a bit too big for me.
I''ve been guilty of pushing to find out what is wrong w/ someone...I guess I should just let it be sometimes. Perhaps, though San is right... some people mean different things with the same words. Not everyone is as antisocial/private/quiet as I am. I'm really not into "talking about my feelings" to just anyone. Certain people I talk to, but not most. I will, however, write about any and everything. I just don't want to talk about it. <b
Hmmmm, good point. I do, however, feel that my body language was also fairly sufficient to tell them to bugger off. I do love my friends, and I really like my coworkers, but they really need a "Guide to understanding the moods of Jai" That would help things a lot, I think. I know who my best friends are, because they know not to even ask. One old roomie would just leave me a post-it on my door saying, "I love you. I'm here. I'll have chocolate when you're ready to stop being a her
