She's the only kid like that. I absolutely love the other 39. Of course, there's the other 150+ kids in the building. Some of those kids I could do without. Like the ones we had to call the cops on last night. Then they blame me (I put up the sign) because they lost their "loud hour". I sure thought they'd grow up after a year in college. Too bad I was wrong.

It's only $10 per hole, but since she discolored large parts of the wall, it's $100 to repaint the whole wall. It's a special paint that is supposed to prevent mold. She isn't an only child either... I thought so too at first. But turns out they're all like that, including the parents.

I may lose my job for doing my job. That's just how it goes. I can't give many details, but here's what I can tell you. I work with college freshmen girls as their "dorm mom" of sorts. Today, most of them are moving out. They are sophomores now, and I am so proud of them. Well, most of them. I've had problems with this one girl all year. She th

I did worse than I ever thought. I wrote up about fifteen of my residents for noise violations. My friend, another RA and I went on a bitch hunt. That really made me feel better! Now they get to get in trouble and I feel much better. And I studied. Whohoo! I've never gone completely crazy to where I've had negative consequences later. Why add more stress when I'm

I drove across the state one night starting at 2am one time. Don't know what came over me. When I got back home, my roomates were getting ready to call the cops. I felt kinda bad, but I just had to get away. Other than that, I usually get a tatoo. And thanks for the welcome back. I appreciate it.

Do you ever get the urge to do something, anything? You feel like you should get up and dance, run in the rain, drive all night, spend waaay to much money on something stupid... anything manic will do. Maybe it's pre-finals stress. Maybe it's because I haven't seen a human being for the last 24 hours. Maybe because I finally feel a little better. Maybe be

Ditches usually win too. Especially ones with things in them that tear the tires off your wheels and shift the parts in your cars. The muddy ones help, though. They usually keep your car from flipping. They still beat your car anyway, but not so much as the dry ones.

This is in no way finished, and I fear in no way coherent. I think I may have followed one too many tangents, but I think I can straighten it out later. Role of Fate and Free Will Eliade said that the myth of eternal return could cause “anxiety before the danger of the new, refusal to assume responsibility for a genuine historical existen

In Tolkien’s essay, “On Fairy Stories” Tolkien writes that he believes that fairy stories offer a means of recover and escape for the human mind. “Recovery is a re-gaining of a clear view. They allow us to clean our windows and see green and be startled anew.” Fairy stories also offer us a means of escape. We escape from sadness and from the grimness of the mecha

4D? I had no idea they did those things. But it sounds cool. I hope the Doc gives you something to help with the morning sickness... that can not be fun. Got any names picked out yet?

Stuck on a stupid boy? I know how that goes. I think it took all of my friends to make me realize that, not only was he 1. not the guy for me, 2. not worth crying over, and 3. that I was being very annoying. When I was finally over him and had made my peace, I got together with the guy I'm with now. Unfortunately, we depended on each other for happines and we fell apart. We've changed a lot now, we're happy with and without each other, and I could

I work with college freshmen girls. I have fifty for whom I am responsible. Most of them are witty, funny, confident and smart. They know what they want out of life and are working hard to get it. The problem? They fall apart because of boys. Either the boy doesn't like them, the boy broke up with them, the boy doesn't like what they are doing, or they just can'

My childhood died this year. I thought I was an adult, I really did. I mean, legally I was already an adult. My parents didn't give me a curfew. I could buy beer, smoke, vote, everything an adult could do. The thing is, I was still a kid, on the inside. That is, until this year. I can narrow it down to two weeks in March, the weeks my childhood died.<BR

Wow. I go away, come back and find that so much has changed! Congrats! for everything but the morning sickness. That's crappy, and will hopefully pass soon and therefore doesn't deserve a congratulations.

Yeah, that's right, I'm back. I'm not sure why, but I've missed writing. And I've missed some of the people on here. A lot has been going on. Since my last article my senior year has come and gone. I should be graduating, but one of the side effects to changing your major so often is that you have to spend extra time in college. That's quite all right th

I remember when I was little and the electricity went out dad got out his guitar and talked like Donald Duck. It was sooo much fun. You might want to add some bottled water. You never know when the water will get messed up and you'll be under a boil order, but no electricity to boil the water.
