I had it done about 5 years ago, one eye done for near vision/reading and one for distant vision, what they call monovision. Can't tell you how glad I am I had it done. It's not perfect since there's still a little astigmatism in the distance eye, even after a touch up procedure a year after the first, and my eyes are more sun-sensitive than before so I'm always in sunglasses outdoors, but would do it again in a heartbeat.
