Here 's an interesting opinion piece based on First Amendment considerations. I'm inclined to agree with it.
Plenty of reasons to use a VPN service for legitimate internet activities. Believe it or not, some people just want privacy, not a vehicle for petty crime.
We're getting closer and closer to the time when "pre-crime" is more important to the state (think civil forfeiture) than real crime. Real criminals will have little difficulty with that sort of regime while ordinary citizens (and petty criminals, admittedly) will more likely be ensnared.
If sufficiently concerned, a VPN service is always an option.
Banks, sure. Forum discussing PC gaming and software, not so "sensitive". IMHO.

I am as cynical as Doc, probably more. Trust no one in government to ever do the 'right' thing. You'll almost never go wrong with that approach.

Hard to 'prove' something that hasn't happened yet. But the structure and mechanisms the FCC adopted will make regulating content in the name of 'fairness' and 'neutrality' a straightforward proposition, quite apart from the FEC. Whether 'net neutrality' as enforced by the FCC turns out to be a Trojan horse or not, only time will tell. But the possibility can't be denied. You think Pai is clueless in this?

My opinion is that KODI is hard to figure out (hardly intuitive), then easy to use. At least the iPad version. Worth figuring out and I recommend it, but seems needless complicated.
