I used RightClick way back when, before I switched to using Litestep + the old Ascorbic WindowBlinds theme. Now neither work with Windows. Would be nice if someone brought something like this back to Windows.

We finally moved into to our newly renovated house. So a new home was the best thing I got. It is such a relief to feel "home" again.
This one is as much a SkinStudio tutorial as it is a WindowBlinds tutorial. Maybe I'm slow in coming to this conclusion, but it only just occurred to me that we're talking about a major upgrade to SkinStudio as well as to WindowBlinds. WB5 gets all the hype.
Interesting. I just observed this problem does not happen with the RustyRooster WB5 skin.
With the error, after restoring the window: Without the error, after resizing the restored window:
Phew, I'm glad it's not just me. Regarding the screenshot, I know I can get one, but it doesn't capture all the transparent window borders and titlebars, does it? Oh, it does! Well ain't that something.
Using applications that run on .NET 1.1, the client area of windows does not restore from the minimized state properly. In addition to my own apps, the commericial application I'm using is JetBrains' Omea Pro (http://www.jetbrains.com/omea/). When I restore the app, the entire client area is condensed into the top-left corner of the restored window, with the status bar on top of the menus. All I have to do is resize the app to get the client area to pa
Ah yes, I eventually found the options. Very sweet overall. Hmmm, even using the Install from Disk dialog, the skins never appear in my WindowBlinds Configuration screen. Do skins have to be made WB 5.0 compatible?
Dang, I was struggling with the same thing. My fault ... But, even after clicking the Install from Disk link and selecting a skin, the skin is never added to my list of skins.
Oh, wrong forum. I meant to post to the WindowBlinds forum, so I mean WB 5.0. Here is my info: WindowBlinds 5 BETA Troubleshooting Report: STATUS : WB+ SRV+ HLP+ UI+ WindowBlinds is installed correctly on this PC. WindowBlinds appears to be activated on this PC Your machine supports per pixel borders on WindowBlinds skins. You have one monitor in total. (Default Mo
There is no longer an Add button in the Display Properties dialog and, unless there is something I'm missing, there is no interface for adding new skins on the WindowBlinds Configuration form. Am I missing something?
Maybe I'm stupid, but I can't figure out how to add skins. I've tried dragging and dropping, but no dice. Double-clicking the wba file starts wbload, which I thought was gone, but the skin never makes it into WindowBlinds Configuration. I had 10 or so before upgrading to 5.0, now only the 5imple, 5imple Alpha (which rocks), Aura, and StealthOS. I'm trying to add OpusOS, which I like because it is very .NET friendly. Will only certain skins w
So let's say your machine is growing long in the tooth. Sounds like making your next machine Vista-ready is the top priority. Sounds like a top flight video card is a big part of it.
little_whip, that poem is like my theme song, if songs and poems were one and the same: http://www.dreamofblue.com/potm.php?poem_id=3. I sent it to my father upon graduating from college.
I'm a Mac Mini user who has his Minilith hooked up to a Sharp Aquos display. Tiger fixes lots of display issues on the Mac Mini. The Apple discussion boards were filled with users who complained of overscan, excess jitter, etc. on LCD displays from many different manufacturers. It seems like a fix I would have gotten in a free Windows Update from Microsoft, but at least it is a fix.
As someone who stands to inherit a chunk of money himself, I have to say that I agree with a lot of what Brad said in both articles. If for no other reason, it applies one standard across all situations, taking a much needed step in the right direction of making our chaotic tax code comprehensible. As I was very close to the person who "busted his butt" to pass money on, I have to speak with his voice for a moment. Aside from the entertainm
That's really funny. I will have to keep my eyes open for that. Comment spammers aren't griefers because they're not individual's, but I really have to wonder about those. How do they get off on posting comment spam? I really, really don't get it. Doesn't everyone just stop reading when they run into comment spam and, usually, griefers? At this point, it is all just noise, isn't it?
Didn't find anything on my machine either.
Ah, looks nice.
Hey, which desktop switcher is that in the taskbar?
Neil makes an interesting comment (dare I say Insightful ) with regard to .NET buttons. I wonder what is the best avenue on which to address microsoft with this issue. Any ideas?
No need to now, as there are not a whole lot of .NET client apps out there, but when are you guys going to test WB releases against Windows.Forms apps? All non-UIS1 WB themes have the weirdest problem of line-breaks in buttons. Things like "OK" buttons splitting "O" and "K" onto separate lines. Just wondering.
I agree that, within American society as a whole, it is possible to reach a consensus about the definition of success. Webster's defines consensus as "general agreement" (http://www.webster.com/cgi-bin/dictionary?va=consensus) but then goes on to equate it with unanimity. In a society as diverse as ours, I don't think we will see unanimity on any meaningful issues ever again, if we ever did. There are many societies, however, where success and morality don't even mix. A successful marri
I want to give it a try first, but I can't find anything on the command-line syntax for "show desktop", "tile windows", ect.
Yeah, I see what you mean. I suppose I could use KeyboardLaunchPad to do the same thing, but what are the command lines for the items you've listed above? Anybody?
