There is only one crae (who is getting a mug from Grog!) and that crae thinks the threads on this particular board are rapidly going down the drain. What are we still talking about? /me takes it off topic seeing this is leading nowhere That name in my account is not my name. When I signed up, my account data got mixed up with some Japanese guy/gal. I left it that way as a sort of battle scar (and yes Doreen, you know the real thing).

Technological superiority has little to do with commercial success. v2000 and BetaMax lost to VHS after all. I don't know how BeOS positioned itself actually, all the *nix variants are targeted towards research, network and critical markets, Windows targets the home user and businesses, while Apple traditionally targets the graphics sector. So where could BeOS possibly fit in?

It helps to read further.... "ParallelGraphics launches Pocket Cortona, the first ever 3D VRML browser for viewing (...) VRML content" This is not a CAD program. CAD stands for Computer Aided Design and usually applies to program with which technical drawings are made (argh, I hate CAD) or programs like 3D Studio. Or in other words, all those unnecessarily complex 3D programs.

Aside from that rating thing, this site also has a class system. If you're in the Citizen class (like you are), you cannot rate or see ratings. But can you change the "show ratings" setting? If not, that may be because you're a Citizen as well (yeah, I know, it's a weird system, there's been a lot of discussion over it).
