LiteStep leads to grief, whether run as shell or enhancement especially when combined with Explorer. Anyway, us craes run LiteShell and EppieDesktop along with some other small apps (WinShade, win32wm and more like that).

You've missed lots of stuff. Skinned.org was hosted by DeskMod and as you might know, DeskMod died. Hydrasoft was planning on teaming up with skinned.org to make it continue and such, but I haven't seen anything yet (and it's been months now).
