You forgot one... *cough*XP*cough* I don't look at the early K-jofol days when eFX was fresh and I first sutck my head around the corner as being the Golden Age. I see it more as the antedeluvian world.

By the way, jsut use the system propose dby Brad with the addition of penalties. Fuck up and you'll lose points and get set back or get a freeze in the points achievable and such. Or make it synergetic, as in: uploading stuff and participating on the board will give you more points than just doing on of those things. You could multiply the posts from the seprarate sections to get the rating for example. /me will get in anyway, seeing he's the well known face for whom the rules are bent

/me has forgotten what this was all about thanks to those long post. People should learn to be compact, not everything needs to be wrapped in six layers of explanation, context or apologies. Well, where were we. Ah yes, point system. SO, how is the class sytem implemented? Isn't that an example of the point system?

"Look, I'm so 1337 now, 'cos I skinned WinAmp. Made this nifty Britney Spears skin for it. Hell no, I won't try a truly freeform player, there's no skill in that" It's the same as people who have been in jail for ages. The outside world is strange and complex for them. Now jail is pretty easy. Be nice to the guards, stay away from those guys and for the rest of it, others decide what you do. Outside you have to decide yourself what you want to do, make your own decisions. Scary

/me goes feline style... "Are kids essentially enhanced pets or are they an integral part of our lives?" -by Froggy I resent that. Do not look down on pets, they are not objects. "But I also worry about my youth being spent changing diapers and never experiencing much in the world" -by Emily That's one reason not to have kids. But really, the father should do that too, we're not in the Middle Ages no more. Anyway, I think one reason is that paren

Ah, that "good vs evil". Most fantasy I read follows that line of thought. One evil foe out to destory the world and such. Guess it's tradition to do it in that style, though I have read fantasy which was quite different from it (rarely).

That's just an accident. We have windows in the roof (domes so to speak, don't know what they're called in English) and when it rains you can hear it hit the domes hard. It's a very, very atmospheric sound. Hard winds sweeping past my window are cool too.

Not everyone is a saint. And some things have less tangible repercussions to them than others. All digital stuff is one of those things. If I copy something, I make a copy of something, the original is still there. So to most people, copying mp3's, programs or skins and redistributing them is not seen as theft. It's very unlike phsysical stuff. If I take your car, you haven't got it anymore, so it's understandable you want it back and what I am doing is wrong. If I make a copy of it yo

And don't worry Taylor, as you can see by the problems the 'Step masters have with just typing, LiteStep misn't all that hard if they'd got it up and running (just remember how to edit you system.ini from DOS and you're home free).

Evil fantasy? There's no such thing. All fantasy is good in my book. Well, except Celtic fantasy ofcourse. That stuff is so boring I get sleepy by just looking at the cover.
