I'm just an eyecandy nut. Speed penalties mean little to me. Unless ofcourse the app grinds my computer to a halt (winamp3 comes to mind), but I do not feel te need to compensate it with added functionality. Besides, I'm taking the easy going appraoch, so I'll be throwing all my clocks out of the window.

Evil demons (eFront) bought skinz.org years ago, but when things started going bad with the demons, they got into a fight with the Crusaders of Light (or in other words, the admins of skinz). The admins left, skinz died, but later was resusrected by the demons. Now it roams the land as a soulless corpse.
Don't think so. Don't know really. I think the normal method of use is to start The Font Thing, then load the collections you want to use. I only wish I could load fonts on the fly without having to restart PhotoShop and such (or is that already possible?).

Some thoughts on this. Keep it in mind that skinners usually skin for themselves first. So it is quite possible that you'd end up modifying the skins yourself after all. Regarding home user vs professional, I might add that there's a distinct chance that in order to make professional skins, the skinner will act professional as well and ask payment for it.
