I don't know if it helps you, but I use the Stardock central app. which asks you for your your reg/s.n. when first ran. You might want to try that, though I'm not sure about Win2K compatibility.

I found the reason for my problem finally. Under configure Windowblinds, go to "override default settings" under "skinning settings" make sure that you have the skin you'd like selected in "always use the shellstyle defined in..." Don't know how or why it wasn't selected correctly, I probably forgot to change it after using some other skin.

You know I've been searching for an answer to this for some time. I have two computers (desktop & laptop) both with current version of XP Pro, IE7 and WindowBlinds. I've re-installed WB5 after installing IE7, and am using the same skin on both machines. unfortunately, the animations aren't working on one of the machines (desktop) and I've been going crazy trying to get it to work on my desktop.
