So if you want to do a clean install will MS let you activate Windows 11 if you had a legit Windows 10 install? My Windows 10 activation says activated with a digital key tied to your MS account. Wonder if 11 will say the same.
It does, I'm running Windows Insider Dev version of Windows 11 (Clean install), and under Activation, it says; "Windows is activated with a digital license linked to your Microsoft account.
First you say it's the same (Win 10/Win 11), now you say it's "almost the same OS", make up your mind, besides they are not the same, I'm running Insider Dev channel Win 11, and it's not the same, believe me, that or Pr
Hmmmm, just installed it, and it's not working for me, unless there's some kind of special settings, I've missed, made changes to the start menu (via Start10) and nothing, enabled the "Show icons as tiles split into", nothing, tried "Allocate room for at least (12 ) icons, and again, nothing, moved start menu to the left, still nothing, so I'm not sure, what's working on your end.&nb

I'm a Windows guy so no hard feelings, but I'm not that keen and this version is not ready for prime time . The reduced taskbar is awful. This time around, I did a clean install of Insider Dev Channel edition of Win 11, last time, it (Win 11) just installed over my clean install of Win 10, now granted, according to the In

That's nice, but, I have a laptop with an Intel i7 5500U (Brandwell-U) 2.4GHz dual Core, and 16GB of RAM, that's been running flawlessly (On Win 10, came loaded with Win 8.1) since I bought it, but yet it's not good enough, and it has TPM 2.0....hope they make big changes on the hardware end of this new OS....(In regards to Seth's post #24). And to top it off, because of this Ludacris move by MS, sellers (on eBay) are marking up the price (Black Market) of a TPM chip, it's crazy!
