hmmmmmm.... palette table? I think Photoshop loads only its own palette. I you want a different one then you have to go and upload it, but it does'nt stay. I think.... more details please, are you taking about Pantone?
so the mouse that came with XP doesn't work? That is wierd. A mouse usually is the last thing to freeze. My whole computer can freeze but the mouse moves just fine!!! So I am surprised that a mouse can freeze.

I am trying to get the Stardock news for DesktopX on Outlook Express. I had it there before simply by clicking on a short-cut as part of DX, but since it is not loading properly, I do not get it. It seems I also can't get the address to work in Outlook. ahhahaha!!!! I read the wallpaper submision as well. I think it makes it clear that it will be heavily moderated. What makes it through and is "crappy" could have possibly made it through more by luck than anything else. It is also possible that it made it because it was based on a skin or is a back drop for a skin. BTW: The wall looks ok. I lie the left side mostly. The rest looks like it needs more work. I guess I'm wierd because I use to change my skins every day. The wall paper tended to match the skin I was using. When I didn't have any skins, I used to change the wall constantly especailly when I got Webshots. After a while you just get tired of changing I guess. (give or take a few months)

all that IT stuff is helping, but not for WinStlyes!!! I think it is a problem that I am missing software on my computer as oppossed to something being wrong with WinStyles. I liked it so much!!! And DX stopped working too. I loved DX!! I am working on so many lovely themes!!!

well my only suggestion is to shop around and get what you want that will serve your needs. You do not want to get stuck with something cheap and works fine but is not what you wanted or needed. Soooooo.... is this to make better skins??? I hope so, my download finger is twiching again.
Wallpapers are so easy to apply. For most people it is a breath of fresh air that covers the entire screen. While icon and window skins are nice, even great, they fail in comparision to a wallpaper. If the wall is bad, every thing looks bad. I am not surprise that winamp is second. Once you figure out how to skin it, it is very easy to do. If you can get you hands on a skin generator then it is even easier. Plus winamp feeds on itself by having close to half a million different skins. I

I agree with da_zman20. The larger the disk spae used the slower it read/write ability is. A blank disk (and for that matter a new disk) will work better because, well its blank and new. Also, the media file you have on it probably are large. That might be another reason the other disk seems faster because there is less files to read through. Just my opinion. A guess really. I am not sure of the reality of this situation but it seems to make sense that this is so.
I wanted to comment on this earlier but didn't have time. I agree with Nate Pinchot as far as paying for bandwidth. The arguement being made by risk7, while good, lacks at certain major points. The bottom line is that a good site cost money to run. The idea that the internet should be free never really was a reality since you DO have o pay a service provider just to access it. Also once a site reaches a cerstain size, it becomes expencive to run. If you want boring stangnate sites then

Well, I do notice a diffenence now. It seems to move a little faster. The best part is I noticed that I don't get any more time outs. The time out's was the thing that really bothered me.
