it doesn't show up on my Object Desktop subscription, only 2.5 does. The funny thing is when I first installed it i got the new version, but had a computer issue and had to go back to a previous restore point. Now I can't install it at all and I am guessing its a registry problem with my computer, but I have no idea how to fix it. Guess i will try to in-install through windows installer. maybe that will fix the issue. Currently using Windows Vista 64 Bit I hope I can fix it. From the re

Thanks guys for your responces. I hope to make some nice dreamscapes in the future. I have plenty of ideas (even though most of thwm have probably been done oever and overf again like blue skys with clouds and flowers blowing in the wind lol) and I just wanted to get off on a good starting point cause money is limited. I figure I would get the Flip HD for 200 and then get another more high grade camera for more detail down the road. As far as software, I am robably going to have to wa

Hello everybody. I feel like a little bit of a bad boy because I did a search in the forums on this subject... but it was a lame one lol... at any rate, I was wondering what camcorders do you guys use to create dreamscenes? I personally was thinking of getting the new Flip UltraHD (for around 200 bucks) to create flying scenes from the airplane, train scenes, city scenes, nature scenes and so forth. Now the Flip records at 720 DPI for the widescre

Hey guys thanks for the info. I will give the email a try (and the tip to look under tools... I will do that as soon as I start up my netbook again) Quite frankly I would have never known that I couldn't turn it off either, but I like using Stardocks Virtual Desktop. I mean, Virtual Desktop still works and all, its just that the wallpapers don't change when you switch desktops. Getting the same wallpaper can be confusing sometimes. I will let them know about the situation

I didn't see a way to turn it off... even end the process with process explorer or task manager. How do you turn it off without uninstalling it? Also, does anybody else get the problem of using virtual desktops and changing to a new desktop, but the same wall appears? This only happens when I am running Fences. Thank for the help XP Dell Mini 9, 1GB Ram 16GB flash drive.

I read some reports that the netbook is a waste of time and junk... but it works just fine for me. Easy to travel with, edit word and excel spreadsheets... for me, why carry a big laptop when you don't really need a big laptop? I'm traveling going to and from work. doing stuff during lunch. Now if i knew i had to be on the latop for a while or I needed a alternative to a desktop, then i would bring my laptop. But if i just need some internet viewing, bloging, report writing, powerpoin

hmmmm... I wasn't aware that you could add RAM to the Dell Mini... I tend to see that my RAM always going somewhere around 650MB. While I still have another 300+ ram, i think its cutting it too close... do you mind having a 16GB flash drive when others get 40GB flash or 120GB hard drives? For me, i didn't buy it to store gobs of info, so having 16GB is fine (especially since i can get a 32GB flash SD card for more room) Well, at any rate, I am glad it would seem that someone is taking

Hello everyone. I was just wondering if any of you guys bought one of those netbooks. I have a Dell Mini 9 (and I love it). I stayed away from customization and other apps due to fear it would take up system resources and battery power... but I couldn't stay away from a customized desktop!!!! Besides, with a screen that small, you need to make the most out of it. My Dell Mini has 1gb of ram and 16gb harddrive (actually an internal flash drive) with sd ports and

This is great, expecially for all those people who use icon on the desktop like crazy (I know allot of people who are desktop icon crazy). I may actually put desktop icons back on my desktop just to use this LOL I know my Dell mini could use this app... just hope it doesn't take up too much resources. I have windowblinds, keepsafe, and virtual desktops running on my 8.5 inch screen to keep things in order but I already have all sorts of other services running... I haven't had any problems wit

Thanks guys. Meant to come back and check (its been a busy Christmas week... full of joy and good cheer lol). I am running 64Bit and its nice to have 6GB of ram (should have gotten 8GB but I guess I can add them later) and junk. Too bad about IconX not running on Vista. All I really wanted on my new Vista PC was Dreamscapes, Windowblinds, Incon Packager and IconX. *starts to cry* I hope I can figure out whats wrong with my computer so I can put IP on...

Hey, did a forum search but couldn't find this info. Icon X won't install (boo) and Icon Packager associations don't stick for whatever reason. Also Windows FX doesn't want to run either. Anybody know when 64 bit will get some computer love?

Um... why you you bring a phone that your not going to use? There is almost no way I'm letting my family take phones with them on a trip (especially with pre-teens and teens) and somehow expect everything to go just a planned. Secondly... how in the heck do you have that much email to down load that ends up costing you almost 5 grand? $25 per 20 megabytes goes into 5000 a whole bunch of times. Third: I guess there is no off switch on the iPhone

I'm gonna say that the video card doesn't work with the mother board. If the old cad works fine once you put it back in, but the new card doesn't, then it is very possible that the motherboard might night work with the card. You card could be shot too... but you would need to check the card by putting it in another computer to see if the card works. Find out what mother board you have and what cards it can take.

I think people see all that money and think to themselves, "I could use a little of that." One person having a billion dollars or even a few million seems so unfair to most when people are getting by with 30,000 dollars a year. They see the cars, boats, houses and say, "ok, that's enough, what more can you want? You have enough money for you you kids and the next generation and you want more?" But here is the real problem (actual

This is my logic on the whole situation; Global Warming is nit just a "worry about places getting hot" its a "worry about extreme weather conditions". It will be hot on month then cold the next. Could this be a natural event? Well, could this be a natural event? With the amount of waste we put into the environment plus the fact that more and moree is being put into the atmophere because more nations are becoming industrialized, I

I always wait about a year or so before I get the new OS. This is a perfect opportunity to kill 2 birds with one stone. I can get a more improved OS after others have stress tested it and also get a better computer that works well with the OS. I've ben dieing for an Alienware and next year I get one. Can't wait.

" Am I alone in thinking that the trending of sales only makes ANY kind of sense in an environment of unlimited supply?" I would agree but given the fact that the supply they gave was what they had to offer and no more could be given, it could be argued that this IS the supply at its max and should be judged as such. In business when you can't meet demand, you can fail even though you can meet it later on. So it could be looked at as a slow
