Im no software genius when it comes to some computer related things , but I do know of a workaround for those who are having games crash to the desktop. I added the EXE for the games that I had crashing to the Do Not Skin list , and the games dont crash anymore. I dont know why this works, it just did! Neil , thanks for fixing the Shockwave game issue in 006 , now another issue arises. When I try to play the game Mega Man X3 by Capcom , unless I exclude MMX3.EXE from the skinning list, the game fails to launch and says "Failed to initalize direct x"

No , those made the show hidden icons thingy on the bottom right scroll extremely slow... Additionally , I think there was a problem with the card put in there , so I pulled it and went back to the Intel 865g on board graphics , and all is fine again. No Biggie . Ill be happy with what I got in the mean time

The latest release of the Catalyst 4.x series (4.12) works well with transparency. You can get it at Link Link The release is from December 2004. This is fairly recent.
