I've been trying for several years on WB6 and now WB7 to figure out this bug that never gets fixed. When using backgrounds for windows explorer the text when renaming files disappears then i can't see what i'm doing. I noticed it takes on the colors of the wallpapers and i moved the window around and watched it change. apparantly the text itself becomes transparent and whatever the wallpapter is, is what you see. i just gave up on

i too have that problem only with deskscapes intead of fences. still today still can't get windowblinds to update. says the file size doesn't match. dunno bout the other haven't tried today. i'm on vista home premium all up to date.
well i finally got around to doing more homework on this project. in order to fix what the Think Green screwed up i had to make a new icon thanks to this site: http://www.howtogeek.com/howto/windows-vista/quick-help-restore-show-desktop-icon-in-windows-vista/ so much for stardock fixing the problem. I see in the Icon Packager there is the Think Green icons with show desktop in green there too. i don't know if i'd risk that either knowing there is no proper way to rev
I have the same problem. I also have Bootskin Pro Installed or it said available. don't know which got installed first. but couldn't uninstall the free one or update it untill reboot. I then clicked on Bootskin Pro and install and now i just have Bootskin. No "Pro" or "Vista Free" Eric
i'm on vista. as i stated before i went back to vista default in mycolors. but it didn't change the quick launch icons back.

awhile back i reverted Think Green back to default Vista so i can use my windowblinds and icon packager. But the IE shortcut and Show desktop shortcut remained green on the quicklaunch. i finally deleted the IE and made new shortcut but the Show desktop I am not sure what to do to change it back or to another icon package. I tried using the IconPackager to change them but it didn't work. anyone have any ideas? thanks Eric
