Address bar refreshes back to original every 5 seconds in DesktopX JoeUser Forums

When I try and go to a certain folder from my c: drive I start to type in the location and the address bar resets itself back to what I started with either a blank bar or the directory I am currently in. It does this for everything it seems like it refreshes every 5 seconds. Please Help
