My prayers and thoughts are with everyone in the path of Rita. My sister and her family live in Texas. I was very happy to see one thing in the face of this monster that is different than before. The state of Texas is allowing and encouraging everyone to take their pets. That is a tremendous relief to an animal lover like me. God be with you all. Be safe, and don't take any chances. This may be worse than anyone yet knows.

Apparently you need to turn off your script block. Or configure it somehow. I do not have Norton. If I were you I would get rid of it and use Zone Alarm and AVG7. I have used both for years and never had a problem. I have read numerous threads about the problems with Norton and scripts as well as dozens of other problems with Norton. There isn't an easy solution when dealing with Norton. The best answer is what people have been saying...uninstall and go with something else. That IS helping her. Absolutely!! I don't let Norton in the same room as my computer!

As far as we know, there is no one else but Federally backed slaughter houses doing this. No one in America serves horsemeat to the public. You can bet if there was, the HSUS would know about it. This is a tremendous victory. If there is an open door, it will be shut soon enough.

Well it is now official. The vote to end the slaughter of horses for foreign consumption has passed both Houses now!!!!!!!! I just want to thank everybody who sent the letter to their Senator.
