Man, you did get hurt! I'm so sorry. That must have hurt like hell.I know the type you're talking about. That is so pathetic. Makes ya wonder how they sleep at night. Our old boss, now partner was the best man at our wedding. He is good people. I fell down the hill of rocks on the railroad tracks and hurt my knee. I have Capsulitis in my right hip where it joins with my leg. I had quit a few stupid accidents while surveying. My right leg fell thro

That is a very nice offer. Yes, I have thought about living in Florida, I would love to live there, but there are too many hurricanes. We deal with enough already here in NC, but there is more land between us and the water than there would be in Florida. One is going on right now!! Our daughter, her 3 kids and husband are here too. We want to be part of their lives. We don't have a payroll or overhead as I am the only employee. I operate the Instrument

Cindy, I started in surveying also. Sorry this is so late in the game, but I wanted to tell you that my husband is a PLS who owns his own Surveying company. This is where we are ending!! He is also a Civil Engineer, but he really loves surveying. <

You can't tell the difference between 1.5 and 4 megs per second in terms of a normal web page loading. Cable could offer me 1 GIG a second and I wouldn't take it. What good would it be when my month would only last a few minutes... I have had Road Runner high speed cable internet for almost 2 years no

You need to re install WB and then the very first skin in the program is XP. Click on it to install and that should take care of it. Then you can un install WB if you still want to. I don't know how you could have windows ME on a computer with XP. I don't think that has anything to do with WB.

Iben, I appreciate your concern over mine and anyone's ability who responds to the actual topic of this thread to help the human victims. I assure you that I am able and willing to support both people and animals. I always have and I always will. So, please understand that I have a right to ask help for the animals. As The Skins Factory and I said earlier, everyone knows about the Red Cross and how to donate to them already. Believe it or not, some peo

but also donate regularly to PetSmart Charities I am so glad to hear that. I am a volunteer for phone line duty at a local no kill facility called Second Chance Pet Adoption of North Carolina. Most of our Adoptathons are held at various PetSmart's in the area. We couldn't do what we are doing without

I agree with you Starkers. In 96 Fran came through my town a hurricane with just 75 mile an hour winds, and the devestation was something I don't ever want to see again. It took 4 day's for anyone to get to our house, and we did not have the flooding as we are inland. There was no power, emergency service, water, ice, phone, gas, nothing for days, and in some places it was weeks and months until these things we take for granted were restored. I couldn

You can also help the human victims I started this thread because the animals are always over looked in times of crisis. Everyone knows how to donate and help people through the Red Cross. Very few think about the suffering of the animals, and therefore do not care or know how to help them. The Red Cr
