You might want to check out LogonStudio https://www.wincustomize.com/software.aspx I dont use logons myself, so I'm not sure if it will work on your OS. Hope it helps!

You're welcome. I just downloaded it, and there are 2 styles with it. I guess you are looking for the verticle version to look like the horizontal one. This design does not. Sorry, I couldn't help.

Did you un-install the current one before you installed the newer one? If not, you might give that a try. Remove both and then re-install the newer one. Make sure you check for any folders that may get left behind, and remove those manually. Hope that helps.

You will need a good graphics program like Paint Shop Pro or Photo Shop to make the picture and you will need this to make the logon out of the picture. The program is called Logon Studio and can be found here. https://www.wincustomize.com/software.aspx

You do not get a stripped down version when you purchase. They are fully functional versions with all the bells and whistles. Only the shareware versions are "stripped down".

I assume you are using IE6. Try changing the .zip to .dxpack when you download. Then double click the object and it should be automatically installed into the program. I hope this helps.
