For a link to Control Panel, just type control into the "link:" field in the shortcut configuration panel. For My Documents, just type in the full path pointing to the folder- on my system, the link is C:\My Documents . And I have a dual processor G4 PowerMac that speed wise craps on my Athlon XP2600 running Win2K. Jim- Micro$oft DO plenty similar to what is in the article. The simple reason they don't get crucified for it is because of the plethora of quite serious legal defences they are involved in (seemingly constantly) around the world. I hardly think using a valid and legal means of protecting your work is worthy of criticism. I haven't used MusicMatch in quite a few years, I can only assume it has improved a lot since then. As a multimedia producer, sound quality is important to me, and JetAudio is the best I've found of the freeware players/rippers, and runs a fairly close second to my player/ripper of choice, Steinberg's MyMP3 Pro. If you are prepared to pay (I think) US$49.95, then I'd recommend the Steinberg product, but if not then you won't go far wrong with JetAudio.

I have been trying it out for over a month now and thoroughly recommend it. The sound quality is fantastic, the interface is nice, and haven't found any cons so far. Don't know about any morte skins for it, and not sure how it compares with MusicMatch, but give it a try, I'm sure you will be impressed.

KarmaGirl- actually, Micro$oft would probably be more inclined to adopt your advice re: spending on development and marketing- Windows sales down $10 million in just one quarter, while Apple sales up in the corresponding period. @shu- India should win this match from here- Sachin's batted well, aided by some bowling which has left a lot to be desired, with both Wasim and Waqar bowling a line and length that's just inviting to be hit, while Shoaib still hasn't learnt that fearsome pace is pointless unless it's coupled with good line and length.
