you don't use drag to deselect only to select.. the shift is used to deselect one at a time. there will not be any GOOD answer to this.. NO game has ever answered this issue well.. it can't be done to please everyone. IE if you click on a unit it is added if you click on NO unit it will enable drag mode. when the shift is enabled you MUST select a unit to deselect it.. maybe it could be done the same way as select with if you don't select a unit it enables drag mode as well.. bu

you can use either as a toggle.. shift + Left click to add or subtract an item to a group. (standard) :)

Spirt of the Alpha? That is the entire point of having an ALPHA/BETA your job.. so to speak is to FIND errors not avoid them. Tehn try to recreate them, and try to decern the reason for the crash/error, then report your findings. If your only interested in playing the game for game play.. well first it has to run smooth before any of that can be addressed in a reasonable way. Adding features and more complex items before all the others are fixed is a TOTAL WASTE of time. You will not

Gamespot offers a service that many other places offer.. to ask for money to DL demo's that you can get from the makers sites is a laugher... and the comments they "spin" on games.. well that's called HYPE and not worth the money it's bought with. I prefer to take the extra 2 minutes and go to another place and get whatever I need. BYE BYE gamespot.... I smell Enron in your future :)

first impressions + bugs + problems in Galactic Civilizations I Stardock Forums

Looks good so far.. nothing explains what the buttons are, might want pop-ups for them.. of course with a manual and some light reading.. all this could be avoided. in time in time... well I built a few ships sent them on to other planets and BANG after getting three new colonies.. the forth crashed the game. I'm going to start doing each item 3/4 times before I report each.. since RANDOM intermittant errors are harder to find.. and might want to push them to the back burner till the ma

played 10 turns.. and decided to head for bed... ESC did nothing but make the game hang.
