the scale of your evil act. Shooting your neighbours when you first moved in and were on good terms is very evil, shooting them at the end when you felt your kids were threatened is still evil, but not as evil. Paul.

These should be slow events, not instantaeous actions, Paul.
d evil. I'm quite happy with the concept of the lesser of two evils. But both evil decisions should shift morality towards evil. Maybe in proportion to the ralations betweent he races? Paul.
Interesting article. I too would agree that the bridge between unionism and a united Ireland is not actually as large as it may appear. One of the fundamental things which I realised over the years is that the vast majority of unionists have no problem with the Irish in general, just with the nationalists in the north. This was once made clear to me when a university friend commented that unionists would happily join a united Ireland tomorrow
That first image brings back so many fond memories! Good luck with the magazine previews this week and hopefully you'll get some good (and well deserved) media attention, Paul.

uld work much better than just picking a type. I do agree though that the important point is for it to be fun though. Paul.
Just because the media reports that they were discharged it doesn't mean they were simply 'let go'. This was a point that I admit I did not know. In that case I'd say that the US military has a serious problem with communications. They really need to get the message across to the people who ha
they got Bad Conduct Discharges, making them felons They murdered Iraqi prisoners in cold blood. In any civil court they would be in prison. Now maybe this is the rare case where the military courts are not seen to have done a proper job. I'll accept that the civilian courts sometime screw up as well. <b
Prices for Petrol, Houses, almost anything - even food has gone up It's not quite as bad as you picture. inflation is actually vey very low and has been for years. Everything else just strikes me as people who couldn't be bothered to read what's going on but get fed their information from television Brad, this is a very condenscending view. You're basically slagging off the majority of people onthe planet who listened to the soundbites. The constant repitition of

if that were to happen that the US would come down on the military person that the local government would not have time to react Untrue, again and again abuses have occurred which were not punished or where the level of punishment is well below that acceptable in civil courts. For example, 2 soldiers we
Dr Guy, asking others to provide proof of terrorism links in other countries because you choose to ignore the 9/11 commission report is rediculous. Just look at Libya and Lockerbie. You're purposely sidestepping the issue that the US went to war primarily on WMD and secondly on terrorist links. Just search through old JU articles to look at the abuse that these reasons were given at the time of the war. I and many others argued that these reason
Dr Guy, you're practcing selective amnesia here. The French president went on US television and stated that he saw no information to convince him that Saddam currently had WMD. Paul.
