TAPPER: What happened to the Kurds was in the 1980's. At the time of The U.S. invasion, after the Gulf War, the WMD's were gone. The U.N. inspections proved that and there haven't been any found since the invasion. Bush has even admmitted it. Zubaz: I am not questioning your belief in God or God's power. I just think that when people follow an agenda which wrongly ends someones life it has nothing to do with God. Human beings can and should make the difference then. We shouldn't "whack"

Zubaz: It is because of Bush's invasion that many many innocent lives have been lost and that invasion was based on LIES. Lies told to the people by their so-called president. Don't say that this fiasco is the will of the people when they were mis-lead about the reasons for it. This situation is outrageous! Bush needs to be held accountable for it. I wouldn't be bringing up the death penalty in Texas. Check this article out <a href="http://web.amnesty.org/library/Index/engAMR5

Starkers: I couldn't have said it any better. I don't know how we Americans, can look the other way as to just how many innocent Iraqis, women, children and old folks have been slaughtered since Dubya decided it was his mission to decide the fate of Iraq. People worry about the fate of our men and women over there, as they should but I don't hear people I talk to saying much about the Iraqis. I remember just before the invasion watching Hans Blix, the U.N. man over there sayin

TheGuyPc has some valid points. I remember the bandwidth promise for subscribers. I am not a subscriber but I've paid out for a lot of the products here. Quite some time ago when Icon Packager had a major update it was unusable for maybe a month and a half. I emailed support. Made nasty posts. I even called. To no avail. I recall that there were many customers in the same boat. Finally it was fixed but I couldn't use a product I paid for! There was nothing I could do. Ya can't walk in to the Sta

It depends on the setup at the time. There's been only a few times I've auto hidden it. The Taskbar is an important part of the skin, I try to blend it in with the wall. It's all part of the vision of the artist who made the skin you see. I try not to use quick launch. I'd rather use Object Dock, it's such a cool program. I like Tabbed Docks the best. I'd say That 90% of the time my Taskbar is on the bottom.

I work on Macs for my job. I can tell you that you may be able to make your PC look like a Mac - sort of - but it ain't gonna run like a Mac! I went through this too, sometime ago and decided that the Mac look is just plain boring and if I can't afford, have a Mac then why bother? I'd rather trick out Windows anyway. Each OS has it's good points and bad points but I think you can make Windows look cooler. It's your machine, your choice. <img src="http://images.stardock.com/wc/smiles/Smile.gif"

I don't create skins. I don't have the time but this is not so much about that but what can be done to improve your company. When you say that you almost missed Microsoft's invitation to go to CES, that tells me a lot. Why? You say that you found out about it through other channels. This is not the way to run a business. It's hit or miss. If I were you I'd fix that sort of thing. What I'm talking about is the basic foundation of a business. You need pe

When DX3 acts up for me the solution, 98% of the time, is usually to clean the cache. There is a tutorial on this by Corky O in the forums. I'd go that route and see if it works. Here's a link. This does wonders not only for DX3 but for OD etc. Good luck. WWW Link

Ok My keyboard needed to be cleaned. Cleaned it but I couldn't get the space bar to work right. Lost the spring. So I went out to the garage and dug out the the old key board from the win98 NEC setup. First thing I noticed was how this keyboard is so much heavier. It's bigger too. It's quieter also. Smoother. Thing is it was used so much that the letters are somewhat faded. This thing is built like a brick shit house! Sometimes just because something is newer doesn't mean it's better. <img src="

The only thing that counts is that you keep your mind open. For some reason when people get older they seem to shut that out. That's why younger people have an easier time with technology. Their minds are open. That's all ya gotta do! Dab-Namb-It!

Hey there seldomseen. Didn't mean to be a buzz killer. McAfee worked pretty well for me most of the time and everything was bundled into the Security Center so that was pretty cool but every year I had to pay to re-up. There were a few factors involved in ditching McAfee. I didn't like the fact that I had to use IE on their site. Couldn't do anything with Firefox there. I know that is an issue with a lot of sites but I just didn't care for it in this case. I think that when the first beta for IE

You have a problem no doubt. Get rid of McAfee. Why buy the cow when you can get the milk for nothin'. Get Zone Alarm and AVG. As seldomseen said clean the reg. Get CCleaner for that. Once all that's set up do a scan using AVG and Bob's yer Uncle. I paid McAfee hundreds of bucks for years before I saw the light. Zone Alarm + AVG + AdAware + CCleaner = No Worries.

Never had the problem cause I never had the headset deal like you but in the Aston Config there is a place where you can set up the plug ins. One of the plug ins is for AstAmp. I usually unchecked this one. I wonder if this is the problem. Uncheck AstAmp if it is running and see if it solves the problem. How do you like Aston? I used it before I discovered Stardock. I love it and use it for periods of time but I always come home to Stardock. <img src="http://images.stardock.com/wc/smil
