I have spent a lot of time on the WC site the past few years but I have never seen a screenshot like My Vista by vistafanat. I thought that this site had some class. Don't get me wrong. I've spent considerable amount of time looking at things on the net that I would consider ehh, for adults only. So my question is this: Is this site now allowing images/language/data that has the words - blow job, penis, anal sex, condomn, bitch, bastard...... So if tha

When you turn off the "Themes" and if you don't use WB then you just have classic. My wife doesn't use WB so now she only has classic. Thing is she doesn't care. My daughter and I have two accounts each, one for WB's and one for Aston Shell. On the Aston Shell accounts we also have the classic look which is fine for us. Funny thing is that it reminds us of our old win98 computer. We didn't run WB's back then but Aston Shell so these accounts are like a

dd: Enough is enough. If you spend 50 bucks on a "product" but don't bother to pay attention to what you are doing when you buy it then you get what you deserve. You shouldn't complain. The terms of the purchase are clearly spelled out by the sellers. Nothing is hidden. You want something for nothing evidently and in this world that is not going to happen. Stardock is not doing anything wrong. If you didn't archive the apps you s

Man oh man I shoulda been more specific. The reason I booted my Mac everyday was because after it was booted it ran better. There were days it wasn't booted but I guarantee you that if that machine wasn't booted for a week it would have just sat there locked up like Fort Knox. We used Photoshop, Indesign, Illustrator, Acrobat and Quark. I worked a lot with PDF's that were for print publishing so you needed a powerful machine because the PDF's had to be

I used OSX Tiger for 8 plus hours a day for quite awhile. Every day I started with rebooting. I did this because if I didn't the OS would either bog down or freeze or just act whacky. We were on a medium sized network. The computer was an I Mac with almost a gig of RAM so there shouldn't have been any problem The guy who installed everything and performed maint. has a degree and is certified blahh blahh blahh. Macs/OSX ain't perfect. I KNOW FROM USING

I like the Vista sidebar. I guess it's as close as you can get to the real deal right now, ie, Vista. I tried IE7 Beta too but it didn't play nice with McAfee! #1. I love the little slide show. #2. The clock looks real nice. #3. The news feed is good. #4. The search bar is good. #5. Using this little baby with Kol's VistaXP skin makes this as close to Vista as I can get. #6. I threw widescape weather by Yahoo widgets on top for my weather a

I also had this problem. The way I solved it was by changing the size of my icons. Right click on your desktop and go to settings then click on Appearance then click on advanced then click on other advanced controls. Under Item choose Icon. You'll have to reduce the size of the Icons. 35 worked for me. Hit ok and you'll be in business. Hope this helps.

Jonathan Marston: What kind of setup do you have? Maybe you don't have enough machine or you haven't properly installed. There could be a lot of other things going on your machine that could cause these problems. Have you tried to contact Stardock support to sort out the problems? This isn't rocket science but at the same time if you don't know what you're doing you can run into trouble. I have only had trouble one time and that was with the first rele

Don't know if this is true or not yet but I just switched to Aero XP DX Theme and stopped using OD. I did seem that FF 1.5 started to slow things up at times but since I stopped using OD I haven't seen FF slow things up. Would there be any connection? Maybe one of the "things" I had in the dock? I almost always use Tabbed docks and I cram the hell out them. No other app semed to be effected. Is this crazy talk? <img src="http://images.stardock.com/wc/

I'm using the built in Intel Graphics: Intel(R) 82845G/GL/GE/PE/GV Graphics Controller. I'm having no problems what so ever. It is so sweet to use WB5. All I did was get the latest Intel drivers before installing WB5.

I'm on a Compaq Presario using the onboard graphics and Compaq Connections is installed. I've got no problems at all. Using WB5 and all is fine. There must be some other problem.

So far I think it's an improvement. Seems faster and clearing history is a snap - Shift - Ctrl - Del. Seems to skin better with WB5 too! Don't know about the memory usage yet. I give it a thumbs up!

No offense rabidrobot but you have to realize that your ideals will never be realized, we live in a dog eat dog world. All you can do is try to keep yourself in an enviroment that has others like yourself. You will be thrown into the real world however and when that happens you have to learn how to cope with it. You won't find a bigger Lennon fan than me but the truth of the matter is that in 2005 I now think "Hair Peace" is a load of dung. The whole T

This how I installed 5. First I uninstalled 4.6 through SDC. Reboot. I got 5 for 15 bucks cause I had 4.6. Purchased it from the web site. They sent me the an email with a link. Installed without any problems. After first reboot all I had was the Classic task bar. I was able to change to the default XP task bar etc. Reboot and apply WB5 skin, I think I used Aura, no problem and all has worked well since. My computer is no powerhouse by today

Stardock can do what they want when they want. It is their product. Personally I am gonna wait cause I'll bet that there are still plenty of bugs in it. How can the developers anticipate all the different computer set-ups people have out there? I don't wanna spend hours installing and uninstalling etc. Besides from all that I've read in the forum, even some folks with really good graphic cards are having issues. 4.6 will be fine for now. <img src="htt
