Before there were computers there were smart ass people like you are talking about. They have been around since the dawn of man. Our solution was to kick their ass.

Impulse doesn't look like it works very well. I'll sit back and wait until you all get this fixed. Why didn't Stardock put out something that worked right? Why should everyone have to Beta test this? It ain't worth the trouble. :)

You talk the talk but can you walk the walk? DX works great on this 5 year old XP machine! Let's see what you are talking about. Post a screenshot to illustrate how much better emerge is. Tell us why it's better other than open source and replacing the explorer shell. Aston replaces the explorer shell too and it uses less memory. I've used Aston but because it doesn't work right with IP I don't use it anymore. Make me see why I should try emerge other than you saying it is better. I must add one

I tried it. It is a good program and worked as advertised but I felt that I didn't need it. Sometimes things that are supposed to make things easier just make things more complicated. It wasn't a matter of not understanding how to use the program. I don't have multiple PC's or fancy cell phones or Windows Mobile or Mobile Web Browser so I don't need that aspect of the program. I don't like having my stuff on their server either. I know you don't have to use that part of it but that kind of defea

I feel comfy here or I wouldn't come here but that is not my point. Being comfortable with a certain group of people does not mean that you have to change to fit in with them. What
Coming here is like going to High School. There are favorites. There are cliques. This is the truth. How to cope? Be yourself and don't kiss ass. You have done that so don't give in to fit in. :)

Recently I talked to an ex-Marine who spent 6 months in the brig and then got kicked out of the Corp because he wouldn't go along with the program. He refused to go to Iraq. I asked him why. I knew that he had to have taken a lot of shit about it. He said that the drill instructor told the guys that the only thing that they should feel when they they shoot an Iraqi kid is the recoil of their weapon. I asked him if the drill was really serious about that. He said that is how the Marines are train
Bring it on baby! :CONGRAT: I love it! :)
First off what programs are you talking about? Photoshop? Stardock programs? Games? What? You have 3 computers going? Do you connect to the net on all 3? How do you do it? Dial up? Cable? The electricity bill alone has got to be high if you are running 3 set ups. Having 3 computers going in one household is gonna cost ya. You don't have much choice. Cut back in other areas or go without. Some software costs more than a whole computer set up. Sadly that's the way it is. <br
RobJK you need to chill out a little. Rome wasn't built in a day. I saw nothing rude being said to you here, only people trying to explain and help. :)

Interesting look at why Vista has been less than what it should be and how MS screwed it up.
Excellent addition to the collection. Very well done. Kind of sort of a little bit like but without as many bells and whistles Aura-ish. No? Yes? I dunno it's just what I see or don't see. I'll shut the pie hole now.
Just curious as to why all the reinstalls? Problems or upgrades? Curious......
Winstep works with ALL the Stardock stuff. I've put up more than a few screenshots showing that off: [link="https://www.wincustomize.com/skins.aspx?skinid=22083&libid=13"]WWW Link[/link] [link="https://www.wincustomize.com/skins.aspx?skinid=21852&libid=13"]WWW Link[/link] [link="https://www.wincustomize.com/skins.aspx?skinid=21588&libid=13"]WWW Link[/link] [link="https://www.wincustomize.com/skins.aspx?skinid=21073&libid=13"]WWW Link[/link] Winstep works with Rainleander, Xi
37 processes right now with Firefox and Winstep running. :) XP Forever!
Yes, the more info the better. I've let this slide. Thanks to the earlier article and this one I've been tweaking like mad the last couple of days. Got it down to 35 processes at boot. 37 running right now. The one that pissed me off the most was the Apple Mobile Devices. WTF! It's for IPhones. Came on board with ITunes and people bitch about Microsoft! I ain't gonna have an I Phone! Useless to me. :)
Please - I submitted a screenshot and I made a big mistake with it. Please do not post it! I don't know if it's gonna be accepted any way. PLEASE. It's called Terminatrix. I don't know if this is where the request should go!
Tiggz you aren't kidding? I can't wait for it! Please post it ASAP!
For the desktop use Avedesk [link="http://www.avedesk.org/"]WWW Link[/link] It's free!
