Thank you Brad. Now I know what you really think. You are caught between a rock and a hard place. This is a Windows skinning site and there are parts of the latest version of that OS which won't work with some of the software you make for that OS. XP is a dead man walking. I realize that but it works pretty well. It works with more of the software you sell than Vista does. I'll stick with XP as long as I can. I've put SP3 beta on this machine and so far it works well. It is confusing I know. So far all I've managed to do is take other peoples graphics etc and tailor them to what I want. In builder mode have a weather widget up. For the background right click and go to properties. There you can change the background. Browse for the one you have in mind. Gotta have one ready for use. For the rest you keep right clicking on each piece - Temp - weather pngs etc. Go to properties each time. For the pngs once you have properties up go to summary and that's where yo

Making the object is easy. You have to be in Builder mode DX. Right click anywhere and go down to DesktopX Builder then choose New Object. From there you can assign the icon and what program you want the object to open. That is a basic object. When you are done checking your mail just minimize and when in that state the program shows in the taskbar. Just click there to maximize. If that's what you want then just right click the object and choose export to save it. Is this what you want

Couldn't resist the SP3 allure. Went smooth. Watched most of Torchwood while it was installing. So far it's fine. Actually seems to be a bit quicker. Will keep you all posted if there are any problems.

Not here to bash Vista but just to report what I've seen. I had a PT job for awhile in the custodial field, shall we say, as part of the job I was in many offices and or business places. I did not see Vista running on any machine. The vast majority had XP with a few 2000 boxes here and there. XP is the most stable OS I've ever used. It only goes south when I do something I shouldn't. With the Stardock stuff and a few other goodies "It's all good". :) Zubaz: as I've said before you Stardock guys are so tied in with MS you'll never say anything bad about them.
