Bump. I'm having this same problem, Richard. I'm using Xero's Panther OB on Win XP. When I boot up my computer, it shows up in the taskbar. However, if I unload OB, then reload, it drops off the taskbar Any ideas? <img src="http://images.stardock.com/images/smiles/sb.gif" border=0 ALIGN="absmiddle" ALT="Powered by Skin

If you have Photoshop, and the number of colors on your GIF is less than 256, then I believe that Photoshop can optimize the palette (or so I hear) used by the GIF so that it will lose as little quality as possible. I don't think that MS paint has this ability. <img src="http://images.stardock.com/images/smiles/sb.gif"

How in the hell can you Trademark a generic word like apple?Seems wrong to me.They didnt make up anything. Speaking of lousy company names that shouldn't have been trademarked, how about Windows? ("The Windows Operating system has detected that you have just used the word "Windows" without the prior permission of Microsoft Corporation.

Yeah. I tried doing vector art myself, however it didn't make it into the wallpaper section here, even with the lowered moderation standards. *embarrased*

The article that contains the screenshot says: "It is the taskbar area that concerns me most: This is the part that resembles the Longhorn prototype UI I'd already seen, with a hump-like curve over the tray notification area." So, I don't think that it is a monitor problem.
