those nine switches are killing me arrgh. I think I've flipped through all the combinations. > Is there supposed to be an enter key? Some just asking the question will give you the answer. Can't believe I was that dense. The door had the answer. So much for "trying every combo". [Message Edited]

Arrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrgh!!!! I have tried all of the VB DirectSR tutorials I can find. I cant even get them to work in VB 6, much less DesktopX. I give up, for now. I found another sort-of-decent tutorial that you might want to look at if you are up to it. http://www.vbip.com/miscellaneous/Speech-Recognition.asp One obvious problem I noticed was the author attempts to identify his command1 button as comman

I have been tryng to make a desktopX object that, through VB, can recognize what you are saying (for example, "Start Internet Explorer") and the computer will do what you say (ie run IEXPLORE.EXE). Skins that I feel make up a complete suite, in order of importance: WindowBlinds Wallpaper IconPackager DesktopX Windows Media Player ObjectBar Cursor XP A logon would be nice, but honestly, I barely ever see it. Although it is nice to have EVERYTHING match, if it requires a raise of price to make a logon, then I would leave it out. [Message Edited]

Well, if the problem you are describing is what I think it is, try updating IconPackager through Stardock Central, and that should solve the problem. I hope that makes sense.

When you get to the Dock Item Properties...Change Image Window, choose the All Images selection on the list at the top-left of the screen. And if all else fails, you could, I suppose, remove the icons from their folder, and simply put them directly in the main folder. I hope that helps. [Message Edited]

Joe: 3+2=5 Why they chose to number this way? Well, you must remember that this is the compaby that chose to make the first sound file loaded into the player after instalation the famous "Llama whippin' intro", and so my only explanation would be: Because they felt like it.
