Well, I applaud Ave for posting in a nice manner, but also see that some of A~S detritous has followed him. I guess since they cannot post underhanded and snide comments over there, that they will invade WC. I can see this one coming, it needs to be nipped in the Bud. NOW!

One annoying this you will find when in a remote session is objectdock, on the client machine pops up, and absorbs the focus of the session for a split second, so if you are working on something, and have objectDocks around the edges of the host machine, and they are autohidden, this will become annoying.

Thank you for your kind words. HG if you want to talk or find out how anything works, or want to get anything off your chest, let me know, or send me an email. One thing I recommend is Hospice care, no matter how you think you can take care of someone, when it get rough, it is alot harder than you think. My Mom refused Hospice Help, and we took care of her towards the end, and I tool care of Her at the Very end, and that sticks with ya. Always keep hope, aive.

I wonder where alot of those New advocates, when Aqua-soft got Hammered a few years back? Correct me if I'm wrong but didn't apple go after them, or something to that effect? I have no love for folks that havn't been throough the birthing pains of something and then Bash Away, at percieved interlopers.

I wonder what fosters beliefs like that? I mean You hear alot about open Source software, but unless you actually use or need a piece of it, it is virtually unheard of. I mean I do not go over to souceforge and surf the isles, like I would at a software retailers. I do not hear or see masses of open souce developers crying/ hawking their wares. I mean on WIN Platform you have free alternatives to mainstream apps, and alot of them are really good. (like Irfan Viewer, AbiWord, DvdShrink,UBook eboo

alex12345 You need to be a little more clear with your needs. First off, do you have the required software installed, to effect the softwares implementation, of the themes in question? If no then please reffer to the top of the Section Libraries in question, for the "about XXXXXXX Software." This will point you to the actual software package you need to use the Themes in that Section. If you do have software installed, thenm please be specific about what steps are being taken, when t

Hmm, sounds terrible. I guess everyone, no matter where they are like sticks and stones. Must be a Genetic Memory, thing. Since it happens everywhere, repeatedly over many different topics. If you are a Larry Niven FAN (SciFi Author), you'd recognize this as Pak Protector Behaviour. It's an ingrained behaviour in that the protector, does everything in its' power to protect, defend, and ensure the survival of its' particualr genetic strain. If the Protector has no Descendents to protect then it c

Those of you that know me, know that my Mom died Six months ago from Lung Cancer at the Age of 54. I went all the way through Chemo with her and ran her business, until my Father sold it. When She died my Father was quite the Bastard, and devoided himself of all her Pets (2 Birds and 1 Wolfes Hound.) I took the animals, into my Herd, here. Now last night something Terrible happened, Max the wolfes Hound slipped His, Collar and apparently went a roving. Now that is not such a bad thing as Dogs go

Quoted from Wired Magazine Article http://www.wired.com/news/digiwood/0,1412,64821,00.html?tw=wn_tophead_2 www.wired.com "With MSN Music, downloaded songs can be played on five computers, a playlist of songs can be burned to CD up to seven times, and users are granted unlimited capability to transfer songs to a current list of roughly 70 portable audio devices." >My comment>Why be limited to five (5) Computers, when you buy a song, if it is not duplicated, in existence

Glad to hear it Kiddo, after all I went through today to share it. I go through alot of music, and will be putting alot here (I imagine.) Also of note is Mark Knopflers Shangri La, and A really good one is Robinellas & the CC String Band (folksy, bluegrass, rockabilly flavour), and Steely Dan Katy Lied and The Corrs Unplugged is very Good, also last one Carole King "Love makes the world go round album"

I rememeber the Diff China, I was just mentioning the two together, to be expedient. Like I said Gang, I got it, understand it, it just confused me, as to its' implementation. I didn't know we had a "Timeline" to consider. I never thought of this site as linear, anyways. It is one of the reason I thought the search fuctionality was provided for? Anyways, nice to have some kind of resolution. Thank you and maybe this can be a learning experience, for all concerned, all not involve

I must apologize in absentia. I saw the posted jpeg and fell out of my chair laughing so hard. Now bare with me, I laughed because I had a similar experience, way back in the Days, before there was an installer, and the manual regedit was needed to fix things. Now I am probably showing my age. I feel your pain tekn0, and am glad you got it sorted out.

I recently started listening to Loudon Wainwright III, mainly because he struck me as a John Prine type of Singer, or Arlo Guthrie, or Bob Dylan if you will. For a tase of what Loudon is Like try http://www.waxy.org/archive/2003/02/12/loudon_w.shtml The song on this Album that initially caught my attention I initially thought it was being factual about being Public Domain. I did some research today and find it is actually being tongue in cheek, about the whole P2P phoenom

Thanks China, and thanks guys for the Confab to sort the Issue. Like I said it was brought to my attention late one evening that creating a duplicate was verboten, and that one was Vanish-ed (which didn't bother me. That is the whole reason I went digging, that and the fact I couldn't (for the life of me) remember the thread to which C&#9829C is now reffering to me. I also still think in perusing that older thread the china should bring back the Babe Icon, and wonder where the Turkey is an

vf- Your right that is my Opinion, and I'll tell you this much, it's sad you cannot see Media Player for the Dark Horse it really is. Why should it (Media Player) ask me to choose the extension I wish to associate it with, and then totally ignore that input? why do I have to chase it down and de&#115elect it a second time? Why does it have to connect to anything upon initially running? It's a Media Player not a Media Internet Connector Player. I understand that it has enhanced features, but

Okidoke, and where is that information accessed? I understand that there are Several Admins'/Mods. I do not know all of them. I understand being able to query, the User Profile when their names are seen as a poster of comments, but how do I know who is on Duty? How do I know whichMod effected my post? Does New Wincustomize 2K5 address this issue? Mod on Duty, whom to Contact and whatnot? Like a who is active pager, who's online Pinger? This is why I posted a Generalized

I went and got a cup of joe, came back refreshed, and the dang Post Vanished thread and all. So I went and did search again "listen." There was the thread with cute Icon "H". I said to myself WTF is that icon? I click on the thread and computer chugs for a bit. Then I get message thread cannot found or is gone or something like that. So I go back to "H" icon and right click on it, and look at it's properties, and it is hidden.gif, so I surmise that thread was Hidden, from Users. Now ther

crae I pulled up a thread from 1092 days ago, a "I'm Listening to" Thread from 082701 I added to it, because I couldn't think of Jafo's thread for music and that is whatcame up on seach of "listen" it had a small post count so I figured that instead of wading through Jafo's thread I added to that one. Some folks music taste have changed and some folks might not want to wade through, several hundreds of posts to contribute to that thread. I also thought it was a nice slice of the past that fo

Well, it's beyond my control. Upon further investigation on my part The link I provided, might have been inapropriate, as I was thinking the whole album was Public domain. I like Loudon for his other Songs, and didn't know he was Bashing Bush, till I found another link. I am a (R) so even though I am not happy with certain issues, I do not promote bashing someone. I tried to be witty and also follow the rules, and got Mod'ed. I'll take my lumps and forget it, but the thread shouldn't have been V
