My all time favorite corny joke Three pieces of Rope are walking down the Street. They were very hot and thirsty. They came upon a bar and one went in. He asked for a drink and the bartender said, 'read the sign buddy we don't serve ropes.' 'Oh come on just this once', the rope asked again. The bartender said 'nope', so the rope left. The second rope figured he was a bit better looking and maybe the bartender would soften a little and let him have a drink. He went in and asked

Mrs.Chickie are you sure you are not in my neck of the woods? Wifey came and told me weather is looking VERY BAD, outside, and now it is ThunderBooming like all get out. I have been a CRT User for a long, long time. I recently purchased a new Laptop from HP, and it has a wide format. 15" cross corner, 13" Horizontal and 8.25" Vertical. The lcd does 1280x800, that coupled with a mobile radeon chipset, it has more adjustments than I care to deal with. I mean this LCD is Bright, without being tinkered with, and puts my CRT Next to it, to Shame. The CRT is like a washed out color palette. My general query is this what is the common consensus, for Gamma Setting, Colo
I know it is bad, but I always look at a data loss as kind of a catharsis. It really hurts and sucks at first, but each time it happens you come back with a better way of labeling your files, tweaking your Box, and of course even though you hate to lose the old stuff, it always allows new stuff to become your favorites. Keep a stiff upper lip and enjoy the fresh start. We never pull the bandaide off if we can avoid it, but sometimes it needs to be done. <img src="http://images.stardock.c

Well, aint that a pisser. Now even I can tell that that was a rude and uncalled for comment. I'll go one further, MetaphysicalMind why don't you try staying up till 1 o'clock in the morning, on a freaking Sunday, and do 2 Video's for the Masses. What the heck, do ya want? A full length feature on DesktopX. Go to Hollywood, my friend. Now as previously posted, I do not mince words about when it is needed, and my frined, you have crossed the line. Might also be the quality of your codec, its'
Not bad, sound broke up a tad at the end, but it's nice to see some of the new features being described. Made me go and Archive and update right away.
My one claim to fame (before I got married and lost alot ..alot of free time.) "Meet Alberto Riccio, Desktop X Creator by Madice Alberto Riccio is a student and a Stardock programmer. He also owns a small company called RiccioSoft. " http://www.teknidermy.com/issue/3/iviewalberto.html Teknidermy Magazine Alberto: Yes. It is quite irritating, but I think that non-english users are almost used to it. Tek: Somehow skinners tend to design large cursor
I have been around for a pretty long time, as a matter of fact. I remember when CursorX was a baby. Shoggot Modded Skinz.org and Bashed folks' Heads. Was involved in Heavy Equipment Suite and Did the CursorX theme for that. Did some small stuff for DesktopX, when it was a baby. Unfortunately I never backed that stuff up and only posted to Skinz.org at the time. I only did one thing for here that I can remember and it was pretty raw.
Yes, I am attempting to Cross link right this moment. [email protected] This is my Second Subscription as a matter of fact.
I thought I was tied like that, and wondered why I kept being just a Citizen, Oh! Well..i'll sort it out. I guess my prob is I predate DesktopX anyways. I remember Windowblinds in the pre 1.xx Days and I was using EFX, from the skinz.org guys. and you're right we can respectfully agree to disagree.
Damn Filter!
Okidokie, you might want to remove the page that i mentioned before then, as I found that page and was linked to it directly from StarDock proper. Here is the path I took. (www.stardock.com,) click support go here (www.stardock.com/support/support_faq.asp?product=37) click right hand column Product info button, go here (https://www.stardock.net/media/odntwhitepaper) pretty direct route if ya ask me. Hope this doesn't get broken or mangled by filter. Now
/me wonders if the obvious hasn't snapped on DW Head? I mean if it's for personal use and not redistributed, why not make them yourself? Aveicon png converter was posted on the message board not to long ago ( do search), edit the image to get the size you want, save as png and then there ya go, convert them. That is NOT REDISTRIBUTED without permission. (clearly stated for the obvious reason!)
For the Users of the Original Windows Taskbar that want a Dock on the Bottom and still want the fuctionality of the Taskbar... Why not just drag the Windows Taskbar to the top of the Screen and autohide it there? It would still be avaiable, and out of the way as well. Putting a "StartMenu Entry" on the right hand side of a Bottom Docked Object Gives you the same functionality as the Taskbar. The only feature I see that is not duplicated is the inclusion of a "address toolbar" type docklet, simil
First off, I do want to apologize for coopting Brads thread, but as I thought this was a good place to add my 2 cents, I did. OK, I guess I am not making myself understood properly. Also before we resort to name calling and defining ones beliefs as absurd. I will make it understood in PLAIN English. I am a Greedy Customer, yes, greed is good. Without Greed there would be no Pockets, also without Greed there would be no incentive to excel, design, innovate or anything of that sort.I am
I have read this entire thread and also the JoeUser Blog. I have run serveral Businesses' for different People, and Undersstand where you are coming from. The Customer is not always right, but the Customer must never know that you know that, (you being the Producer of goods.) The job of the Producer is to educate the Consumer, would be Customer and the User. when there is an issue that the User / Customer is wrong, a Good Producer/ Business Person would bring the User/ Consumer around to underst
I think the problem stems from a common misuse of "Customer." Customer is being equated with Patronage or User ..Customer 1 : a person or business that purchases a commodity or service ..Patronage 1. Special countenance or support favor, encouragement, or aid, afforded to a person or a work as, the patronage of letters patronage given to an author. 2. Business custom. ..User 1. One who uses 2.
