Well, folks venturing into XP land and toying, with the Latest Beta of WB3 7f, I think, I have come upon a nasty combination. Soundforge 5, and WB3 B7f do not mix. Oil and Water have a better chance of combining. Actually it just brings my system to the Equiv. of the old 486. I mean Slllllooooowwwww.... Toying with app compat wizard in XP, and the Exclusion function of WB3, had no effect. To run Soundforge, properly I have had to turn off WB. This is just a note for the powers that be, a

I was curious as to, how the latest growth and recognition, will affect this site. Being mentioned on The Reg, and other well known sites, draws alot of traffic...Me thinks?? Building product ties to the new XP Release, and MS, will greatly increase the traffic, if not in sales, then exposure and product trials and general curiosity. Is this not being taken into account, by SD proper as an operational exspense? I view this site as a direct extention (sp?) of SD, and do not even try to differ

I know this is odd, but after installing WB B7 or WB Final 3, whatever it's incarnation, I am noticing, that the contrast on the monitor, is different than, the previous version (2.20 I think.) Also One think to take into consideration is that, it seems to be integrated, the same as the regular XP themes, and in this feature, nice but when changing the themes, from MS based to my Standard WB Chosen themes, the Fonts for each windometric feature is reset to a MS default. "BTW, anyone caught creating alias users (such as "Tom Cruise") will be exiled." Frogboy How many do you have Brad? Three I think. Alias'es can be tailered, to the Users Mood, the want for Anonymity, or reasons you do not need, be concerned, with. I stand behind my Nym, and have no need for another, but others may not feel that way. "Do as I say, not as I do!" I have enough of a hard time getting my Daughter, to swallow, that line. Let alone,

My most favorite name, scene in a movie, covers the name zathrus. There are several brothers all named Zathrus. The difference is in pronunciation. There is Zathrus. Then the second Brother Zathrus. Then the third Brother Zathrus, and then there is Zathrus. You can see the difference right? Anywho, this is an infamous, scene from Babylon 5. If you've seen it, I know ya got a chuckle from it. If ya havn't then it's definately a reason, to start wat

Brad, maybe you can explain, something for me. Everytime I install, DesktopX on Win2K Pro, it breaks, my ability to "right click", on my Program folders, and open them, or explore them. The only way I can effect any changes on them is to "right-click", on the start button and open all-users, and go from there. Does this happen to other users of W2kPro? Feedback would be appreciated.

See this is why I pointed out, that this was covered before... hahahaha!!!!! I was of the same opinion as paxx, CB and the rest. I have come to the same conclusions, as paxx, and as such visit the site, as infrequently, as I might have, given that it might have been freeform. (hope that made sense.) I stopped caring about making waves, or pointing out, what I thought was a loss of direction. This site i
