Quoting scifi1950, reply 1 Bradley has horrible traits for a starship captain [e digicons]XD[/e] That's true, and I wonder why a "Famed Starship Captain" would be relegated to piloting a weak ship that is essentially a garbage scow vacuuming-up intergalactic refuse. GalCiv IV is not going to use the Steam workshop. It has it's own in-house module for downloading player made content which is moderated much better. It was available on the Supernova base game on Epic, but unfortunately it is currently unavailable in Supernova 1.55. I'm sure it'll be back soon.

Paul - Once you pick the Core Capital, the Civ Capital disappears. You'll also notice that there a couple of improvements that go with the Civ Capital that are missing. When I started a saved version (I always keep my blank starting position if it's a keeper), and picked the Civ Capital everything was back to normal [e digicons]:digichet:[/e]

Thanks for posting this. It solved my issues here https://forums.galciv4.com/520465/155376894-new-culture-and-control-mechanics . I suggested that they not have the Core World Capital show up on the Civ Capital planet.

So after reading impinc's post https://forhttps://forums.galciv4.com/520467/155-capital-issues ,ums.galciv4.com/520467/155-capital-issues I think I see the problem. I also picked "Core Capital" instead of "Capital City". I'm pretty sure this is what messed up my game. I'll go back to 1st save and retry. However, I would strongly suggest that you stop the "Core Capital" from

Okay, you added a couple of new toys, the Precursor Engine and the Arnorian Drive. The Precursor Engine shows up in the Ship Design - Equip -Drives, but where does the Arnorian Drive show up? It sounds like it should be in the list of upgrade modules for Flagships, Commander ships, and Prototypes, but not there. Also these two are all I'm getting. What happened to the Stealth, Extension, and Diablo modules? <img src="https://cdn.stardock.us/forums/18/60/18604

I'm sure I don't understand how to use the new Culture and Control mechanics, but they're not something that just happens in the background without some kind of TLC. Turn 61 and I have 1 Culture point, and that came from an an event or setting up a colony, can't remember which. It says Culture points produced by homeworld, which is the same as previous version, but seems to be broken. <img src="https://cdn.stardock.us/forums/18/60/1860429/8d781edc-de7f-4a5c-9c43-72e240b5
Like the return of GNN. This was really needed. But it's not all there yet. Have GNN report on the progress of wars. Who is winning (on not), Maybe even add if two nations are likely to go to war.
GNN - all the Gossip you can't get anywhere else. Love it. Planets whose population is unhappy or getting ready to flip. Planets with a governor with the defection trait. Possibilities are endle

KarlEngler - I can tell you what happened, just not sure why it happened. The decay on all your feeder colonies increased dramatically, causing the value of the minerals they send to your core world to drop. The drop in your Planetary Input from 40.7 to 27 caused the Planetary Output to drop from 192 to 129. Formula used in calculating Planetary Output is based on compound interest, so a small change can become a big one if you have a lot of factors compounding. I can explai

Draver - I love the Terraforming Artifact too. I always customize my Civs with Archaeologist, Abilities tab - Civ Abilities. "Whenever artifact charges are earned an additional charge is gained." Now that these Artifacts are back in the game this ability is a great bonus maker if you spend time looking for white Anomalies.

Pathfinding has been problematic in GalCiv IV. Something to do with the hexes? The longer the path, the less direct the route. Always seem to take the 2 sides of the triangle instead of the hypotenuse.

Being able to move the Capital on your home planet is fantastic. So many times I reroll a for a new game just because the Capital is in the stupidest spot. Now please fix the pollution problem. You took away the big fix in Culture/Ideologies. I thought there used to be a mini-fix from Anomalies, but in 348 turns haven't found it if it's still there.
We have identified the problem and we might have a solution ready by Tuesday. But it's a really weird issue. For some reason, AI civs are sometimes not able to get their ship out of their shipyard.
Fantastic, having to save like crazy and reboot every 10-20 turns is not fun. But as you always say - testing mode isn't supposed to be fun. So I'll stop complaining and go find some more issues fo

Tegron - this is a known bug (several have reported), so they'll probably fix it in next patch. https://forums.galciv4.com/520341/155-trader-ship-causing-hangup For now, you can reload a previous save and not send the original Freighter until you research the tech for more trade licenses, if you want to continue that game.
There are a lot of ways to get more flag ships. For instance, most of the hero ships (commanders) can survey anomalies. There are also various anomalies that will give you a survey module.

Quoting Frogboy, reply 10 There ar
