Beautiful sentiments. I've had only a few friends like that in my life as well. One of them in particular, I seem to be relying on very heavily right now. I'm blessed to have her. She's a gift from heaven.

I love tea, but I grew up with it having an English mother. She likes the nonflavored kinds, but I love the flavored black loose teas. Loose tea is so much better than tea bags; has tons of more flavor. If you like cinnamon, Bigelow has a cinnamon stick flavor that is good. I bought some tea in Hawaii last month while on vacation
I've been a hard core coffee drinker my entire life... the stronger the better. I had tried tea a few times, but just never really enjoyed it. It seemed to lack... something. I decided over the past couple of weeks that I'd like to try to drink tea. It's better for you... and it will be cheaper in the long run because I always end up buying Dunkin Donuts coff
ROFL... too funny!
you have woven a wonderfully hilarious faery tale! thank you Thanks, Trudy... again, not my work. I wish it were! sweet fun read, and so true, somehow I feel kinship to some
Here's what I found on the baytza... it has something to do with remembering the temple and most of what I found says that it represents the offering they gave at the temple during the festivals (chagigah). Here's some info on why the tradition might have originated... so far I haven't found a time period for when this particular ritual might have been instituted. Baytza The baytza is a hard-boiled, roasted egg that is used instead o

Kingbee's was great... indeed.
Great ones... here are my favorites so far... in random order... "Right Click to Open" - Kingbee "I said 'toolbar,' not 'toolbox,' you idiot!" - anonymous And last, but certainly not least... "Ummm, that's NOT what we meant by computer HARDWARE!" - Gideon
"If you build a better mousetrap, the world will beat a path to your door."
Here's one I saw somewhere else... can't take credit for it. "I said, 'toolbar', not 'toolbox', idiot!!"
That one's good too, doc!
That's a great one, Gid!!
Feel free to leave more than one.

On the one hand, I'm disgusted with what's available for family entertainment these days (pitifully little). On the other, part of me enjoys that it's harder to find family movies. There's nothing wrong with playing a board game with your kids instead of staring at the screen. If there was an abundance of family appropriate entertainment, I fear my family would spend more time doing that than we would actually communicating. Pros and cons to every situ
My office is business casual. Like you, if I'm going to dress up, it's Monday. Fresh start to the new week... but also, dressing nicer gets me in the work mindset. I need that after the weekend. Something to get me back on track. Most of the time I wear jeans (although not blue jeans - off white or black) and a nice sweater/top. Once in a while on Fridays the blue jeans come out <img src="http://images.stardock.com/JU/smiles/Smile.gif" border=
I think the son really is just looking after the father's interests. I mean... come on... he'd have to be off his rocker to get sucked into this, I think. He needs protection from himself.
I felt much the same coming back after a few weeks of rarely getting in to read. Ah well... life goes on. I think we all go through phases of taking time away when life gets busy, and that's not a bad thing.
I learned that it doesn't matter that I'm 6.5 pounds lighter than I was a month ago, the day before my period -- I still feel FAT. I learned that I don't mind watching cartoons instead of Fox New Channel in the morning so long as my five-year-old is nestled in beside me with his arm around my neck.
I guess at the end of the day the only real difference in our lives as adults is God...though I came to Him after this was all worked out in my heart and mind. He expunged any lingering poison from my soul. If that makes sense. I admire you so much, T. The way you are able to articulate circumstances that
